New Balance of the M1928A1 makes it unworthy

As a Thompson with a longer barrel and a compensater, m1928a1 in normandy not just only got a pretty useless decrease of vertical recoil, but also give it a large amount of horizontal recoil for a weapon with this fire rate. All this changes makes M1928A1 become a new weapon with even less reason to purchase.
So please give it a better properties to match with a latest weapon, thanks.

Nah, it’s well balanced.

The m1928a1 is supposed to counter the stg 44 but performs terribly compared to it. It has bugged rotational recoil which makes it even worse. Meanwhile the stg 44 has laser recoil, great sights and more damage.

M2 carbine is the answer.

Not Tommy guns.

M2 carbine, was is and will ever be the most broken gun in-game.

Imo, but I know nothing.

And what if m2 carbine is boring? What if I want variety? What do I do with my maxed out assaulters? The same gun over and over is boring is what I’m trying to say.

Ye I agree with you.

True true…

Reasons I m swapping mkbs and avts for mp40s and pps42s on other campaigns just to have way more fun with less meta shit.

Fair point.

All of the Tommy guns in-game are less viable to use than m2 carbines. It’s a sad world… But the more I think about it the more reason u have.

Agree 100% with you. And we have hard to deny proof of a guy (Gun Jesus) actually side by side comparing the recoil of each model.
The nerf to the Thompson was totally uncalled for. The 1921/28 was meant to have less recoil than the M1 and M1A1 because of the massive Cutts Compensator on the end of the barrel and the Blish Lock bolt it had. Look at the two guns Dev, one has the charging handle on the top the other on the side. If you dig into them the whole bolt was redesigned on the guns for cheap mass production. Making the M1A1 a bit less pleasent to shoot, despite the lower rate of fire.

YA, my recent efforts to unlock upgrades and invest bronze orders in this weapon became totally unnecessary today.

But at this stage, I’m not surprised or disappointed. This constantly changing of weapon stats is something you’ll have to count on in this game.

They will change it back sooner than later anyways

oh man sharing the top secret powerhouse of the Allied Normandy M2 carbine may bring a surge of players realizing this and causing the Axis mains to tear up the forums when the playerbase swaps to Allies.

My brother and I rotate two 9 man M2 carbine squads, not only is that gun incredible but everyone can use it making it a very consistent experience swapping between Trooper, Engineer, Flamethrower & AT classes

Absolutely on their toes. Espcially if you mark where they should look at.
Honestly, sometimes they performing a lot better than me.
They often sights enemies way ahead of me and then act super agressivley.

This is my rifleman squad with 9 of this killerbots.

Yeah IRL my grandpa was a Sherman TC in Italy and he loved the M2 carbine more than any other small arm. He collected M1 carbines, never had an M1 rifle which surprised me as a kid. Now I can see why in context. But still I think they look stupid AF compared to a squad of guys with Garands w/ and w/out rifle grenade launchers. I only put them on radio operators and engineers.
Guys who carry tons of kit already.
Variety of arms would be nice, like the Axis has.

StG/MP43 vs M2/M1919. Seems balanced.
