i have to disagree. the mg34/42 is better than the dp/dt, the gap definetly shortened by alot after the mg nerf. but they are still superior
the FG 42 II is also undeniably the best gun in the game (i would know i spam them myself like a rat). and although AVS/AVT is a pretty decent matchup to the first FG, they are still worse

The mg34 has the same accuracy as a football fan after 12 beers trying to have a piss
this is what make Normandy such a shit show thou no counter to it
I’ve literally used both and the German mgs just throw bullets in a general 45° cone of where you’re aiming, the soviet lmgs are like you’re playing cod, no recoil, laser accurate

The only fg42 2 in Normandy is a sniper and again bullets come out sideways from where the scope points

You know the mg42 is actually fantastic, if it’s built from an engineer, has infinite ammo and acts like it’s deployed all the time and the one the gunner gets is worthless
I literally finished normandy, Berlin, allies in Tunisia and just started Moscow allies since axis kept losing because mp28 vs ppd was totally fair
yeah we need a change barrel mechanic or somethign and maybe a round limit, oh and remove all the buildable Mg42s from the allies alongside the MG42 from Moscow
