Love this game for its realism and ambience. Really great maps and fantastic graphics. New since I recently joined the CBT. So I have this question.
How can I get new ammunition when I have emptied all ammo clips I carry for my same weapon and want to continue play my current squad soldier?

Either your Engineer or another friendly Engineer has to build an ammo box somewhere. Otherwise you have all you’re gonna have on that guy.

Yeah having an engineer in each squad is pretty beneficial. He comes with a set amount of supplies when he spawns, once you use those up that’s it.
You also have to break down your constructs like Rally Points and what not if you want to put them in a different position. Like if you or the enemy get pushed back a point on invasion you need to break down your old rally point before you can build a new one.

You can also ask your bots for ammo if you have less than a certain amount remaining, usually it’s less than 1 clip/magazine, but I know it’s at least not the case with the drum PPD where I’m not sure they’ll ever give you ammo.
Either use the radial menu with the Alt button to call one over to you, or walk up to one of your bots and press F, then they’ll give you 1 clipazine without expending their own ammo.
By way of the radial menu you can also ask your bots to use their medkits to top off your health instead of using your own.

Wait really? I had no clue they could give you ammo.
oh yeah I abuse the hell out of it with my machine gun squad because it’s the only way not to instantly run out of ammo with your engineer dead.
But again it might depend on the capacity of the machine gun you’re using. The Madsen lets you request ammo halfway through your last mag, but it doesn’t work with the drum PPD. Maybe there’s a cap on what percentage of your max ammo they can give you.
