Nerfing semi-auto makes no sense to me

Although I appreciate the development team’s response to player complaints during this period of time, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to nerfing semi-automatic weapons to this point at this time.

Putting aside historical issues, full-power automatic weapons already have an overwhelming advantage in the game, and now you have nerfing semi-automatic weapons to the point where they can hardly compete with them, In this case, how can new players survive the long and painful period until they get the first usable automatic weapon especially in the battles of Normandy and Moscow’s Axis? I have already unlocked AVS36 in Berlin and FG42-2 in Normandy, so I know very well how much advantage they have to players who don’t even have a machine gun.

This problem is even more serious for the offensive side. Let’s suppose that a new player joins the Battle of Normandy and is mainly playing the Allied forces. That means mainly playing offensive , so how can he use a nerfed M1Carbines or M1Garland to fight with fortified players with MG34 or even FG42? Or he can only and should only camping at longrange?

Yeah, you can say that they can still use submachine guns and other types of tactical equipment, but submachine guns still have a very limited effective range and versatility compared to semi-automatic weapons, not to mention that submachine guns that use pistol cartridge still cant effective against full-caliber fully automatic weapons at close range. As for the grenade: what I want to say is why new players have to be forced to use a single solution instead of at least some decent gaming experience?

I’m not even bothered by this, I admit that I really like the original experience of semi-automatic weapons in game and feels bad for this change but I have already unlocked a lot of late-stage weapons, I just think this change is not an improvement to the overall balance of the game.

It’s funny that no one actually complained that semi-auto rifles have too much rate of fire or that G43 or M1 is too OP so please nerf them, so rate of fire wasn’t really problem. Actually, rate of fire before this update was realistic one, because those rifles can shoot faster in real life then they are shooting now - after this update. Magazine sizes wasn’t really big for most of them and now, after this nerf, it puts semi-auto rifle players in even bigger disadvantage in close quarter combat.

The only reason I can think of to reduce the rof of semis is to stop autoclick/cqc spammers which would be reasonable
But with no reason given its up in the air in stalin land

definitely would be nice if they gave us the justification for this … Maybe there are some stats that we are not aware ???

Even if spamming cqc with SVT-40 or G43, that’s not far from realism, they got pretty fast rate of fire in real life. I haven’t tested maximum rate of fire before this update though, so i can’t tell if someone was abusing this, for example, setting mouse-scroll to fire, like it’s possible to do in other games, lol. Some kind of rate of fire limit is needed for sure, but this right now is too slow.

Yeah I agree
I figure it just needs bumped up by like 60-70rpm and we’ll be fine
As it stood you could just auto click them into controllable full auto

I really hated the fast ROF. I was just too lazy and didnt care enough to make a post

Well I guess now you’re happy with the incoming Full auto spam.
