Nerf Type 100 Paratrooper stats and move it back to BR I (Premium Medic Squad)

I bought the Type 100 Paratrooper (Premium Medic) squad for my BR I loadout. I was disappointed when it was buffed a few months ago and then moved to BR II. What I’m proposing is:


Nerf or revert the stats of the Type 100 Paratrooper to the old stats (450 rpm / 6.0 dmg) and move it back to BR I


Here are some reasons why it should be returned:

  1. Japan only has the S1-100 for their BR I SMG which has made BR I matches monotonous after a few months.
  2. This change won’t make the S1-100 obsolete since the Type 100 Paratrooper is premium and the S1-100 has very good stats for BR I.
  3. Japan has no BR I premium infantry squads. Apart from a tank and bike squad, the Type 100 Paratrooper was the only BR I infantry premium squad for Japan.
  4. Japan has 4 BR II premium infantry squads: Type 100 with Bipod, Type 1 SMG, Type 99 Rifle (Long) and the current Type 100 Paratrooper.
  5. This would make the squad more unique, since there’s already four variants of the Type 100.
  6. While having medics and engineers in the same squad is nice, you can’t add an additional AT gunner like the Type 1 SMG squad

I am quite annoyed by what they did to the japanese SMG.

While I understand the “historical argument”. I do think it was better before : Japan had a quite diverse and interresting set of SMG to choose from with 2 or 3 different models at each BR.

And even worse was how they handled this. They buffed most of their SMG overnight, and we had to wait quite sometimes before they realized that many of them now needed adjustment.

For once it would have been better if they did not do anything in the first place.

Yeah agree, they had a nice balance between BRI, BRII and BRIII weapons, now they just have a lot of BRIII weapons and feel quite empty on BRI and BRIII.
This while Japs are have an empty TT on BRIV and BRV as well. This faction needs a serious update.

No, if we’re going to use a rate of fire that never existed I want STG 44 with a 900 rate of fire.

I agree but the current stg actually had lower rpm irl more like 500.

Many weapons have the wrong rate of fire, optimistically, I think it will be corrected in 2070

Personally I think the solution is a compromise.
Make Type 100 (early) fire 450 rpm by default but a setting for higher fire rate can be unlocked through upgrades which allow 700 rpm, but also increase it’s BR.

Upgrades have never changed br and i doubt we will see it happen in the future. Most likely we will get another type 100 variant possibly a early prototype

guess you havent played br1 soviets? they only had 1 BR1 SMG for a few years lol

But to be honest, Soviets could really use some extra TT stuf as well. Especially in BRI and BRIII.

Also, they have some premium BRI SMG. Like obviously thats not the same but it is something.

Yeah the soviets have the same condition lol. There is the premium PPT-27, but it fires too fast and has a small magazine, I sometimes use it on semi-auto.
