I’ve experienced countless times using IS-2s or other long-reload tanks to empty enemy tank turrets, even disabling the cannon breech. However, the enemy can repair their guns and reload their crews much faster than I can reload halfway through.
I think this should be learned from Warthunder. If your breechblock or traverse mechanism is completely destroyed, you need to wait much longer to fully repair it, and the crew changing seat time should also be extended by about 1.5 times. All these changes are designed to ensure the first to fire gains a greater advantage and to improve the gameplay experience of long-reload tanks, which are already quite weak cause their bulky slow reload can’t handle extremely fast pace in enlisted.
Armoured vehicles, in the tiny maps Enlisted offers, are vulnerable to every soldiers who somehow all possess AT weaponry, other tanks, planes, and most importantly
apparently a historical issue with a soviet tank requires nerfing everyone else.
You are probably better off using T-34-100 but should you insist on the IS-2, at least learn to aim.
Well I liked it better when you had to get out the tank to repair its breach - sure it doesn’t make sense since the breach is inside the tank, but a critical tank component that in reality would be almost impossible to repair in the field, let alone in combat…
A shot that would realistically disable a vehicle, should matter more.
any tank crew for the matter, but in reality infantry didnt carry explosive packs, every squad didnt have a rocket launcher, these things are obviously balanced with infantry in mind.
I think maybe it would be better to let df break free from wt? The loading mechanism of Is2, in the current economy mode, really needs to be faster. It’s just too slow. Too slow. I really wish it could be faster, at least 3 seconds faster than Tiger H. I deserve it.
