I recently played a game in Berlin, and I faced a panther using the IS 2. Nothing out of the ordinary, but there was one detail, I shot him with the 122mm barrel of armor-piercing ammunition in the gunner’s area. But I only kill 3 crew members, WTF? He is always destroyed with a single shot in that area, but already, I can understand that he does not die with the 85, but the 122mm cannon? With what does it cost to aim with that sight and with the reload, and now I have to shoot more times? I spent more time killing the panther than helping the team. The IS 2 is nerfed, it can’t get through the panther chassis and now it can’t even destroy a panther in the turret. It makes the most powerful Soviet cannon look bad, even in war thunder it’s not like that.

in Enlisted Is-2 is really weak against tanks, you can’t one shot anything from the front if you bounce off tiger then you are dead, so i only use 122mm against infantry, t-34 is much better vs tanks so i dunno why are you complaining as a Panther player

that’s in WT, while in Enlisted Panther’s front hull can’t be penned like in reality
Are you sure about that? from the distances we are fighting in Enlisted, a 122 shell would straight go through the upper plate of a panther same goes for the turret.
Already improved, after the last update, the IS2 can now penetrate the Panther’s hull armour (SU100 still can’t)
Thats why i still use IS1
In reality, soviet AT shells were pretty soft and shtty. 
Weird bounces/ non penetration could happen.
And German tanks at 45m were created in compliance with all armor production technologies)
I am an IS-2 player, I have never played with panther
After more than 5 months, I can recommend that justice was finally done to the 122mm cannon of IS 2.
