If the infantry weapons in end game Tunisia are still arguably balanced, then the planes are totally not.
It is true that Bf110 & ju87 can operate together, but the amount of damage beaufighter deals is just too much for infantry.
For numerous of times I have seem suicidal attacks from this plane taking away 10-20 soldiers. Considering a scenario where 4 pros in axis fight against 4 pros in allies, as long as the allies keep doing the kamikaze of beaufighters there is no way for Axis to fight properly. If Axis wants to achieve the same effect as described above then at least they need 2 people to operate the planes, not even to say it is so much easier to use rockets than bombs.
Why would you do a kamikaze run with beaufighter anyway? It’s easy enough to fly with it and tbh axis fighters can kill it fast enough.
That being said, it’s a really good attacker and sure it can kill bunch of infantry every run.
But they tried to balance tunisia with capture speed and tickets, I’m sure you already know axis get much much more tickets for capturing points and they can capture or setup a bomb much faster and that’s why when both team have good and equal players axis has a better chance to win(but usually allies have the better and more real players).
Only an idiot would do kamizake with the Beaufighter.

True, it is very powerful when used well BUT also extremely slow in speed and turning.
So that balances things nicely I think.
You can achieve the same effect with only 1 set of Wfr. Gr. 21 rockets as Axis Normandy with the Fw-190. You have to be able to pick your target, but tanks and infantry are fair game if you land it right. Similar amount of kills on infantry in the open, BTW.
I actually like the Bf-110, but I may be in the minority on this opinion.
The forums have been one long struggle session about this “kamikaze defender” situation for months and months. Nothing will change on the Invasion game mode until the devs reconfigure how that game mode tracks points, and that should include both attack and defense.
As of this time, only the attackers have a clock against them…that obviously needs to change, because in addition to being frustrating it’s also incredibly stupid (some might even say unrealistic).
Why would you want to nerf my favourite air target? I’m still learning to fly, and the Beaufighter is an easy mark for any axis fighters. Just gotta be careful of the rear gunner.
Beaufighter doesn’t deserve a nerf. It’s rockets are also not very good vs tanks, so there’s that.
I strongly disagree, I can easily destroy any tank on Axis side with just one pair of rockets (out of 8) you only need to know how to aim with them. It’s not always perfect as these rockets don’t fly the same path everytime so there’s a bit of luck needed, but when enemy tank is hit with just one rocket it will be destroyed.
They work, sure, if you make a direct hit. But I still think bombs work way better to take out tanks, at least when it’s a Beau in the air, my tank blow up less often.
Yes you can kill tanks with the beaufighter but that need a direct hit, after all those rockets made to kill infantries and it’s much easier to kill any tank with 500kg than those rockets.
It causes too much damage to infantry, it has a larger kill radius than a 250kg bomb
