I want the Jagdtiger regardless. Whenever people bring up balance, first I say that I am sure no matter what there is always some counter somewhere. I’m not researching deep into Allied and Soviet vehicles but I am sure there is always a counter to everything.
Second, planes are practically the best weapon against tanks.
Frankly I want all vehicles from the war. From the lightest tanks and open topped self propelled guns to the heaviest tanks and solid casemated self propelled guns.
No. That’s a terrible attitude. Let people use whatever their preference is in the balanced BR. Let it rot is a stupid idea.
My honest opinion was the nashorn was a waste of a vehicle slot, they shouldn’t have included this. As a event item maybe? But definitely not TT. It sits in a weird spot where it doesn’t belong in any BR. Gun’s too powerful for BR III, and it has paper thin BR I armor that literally any AT weapon at BR I can punch cleanly through (excluding the event Tankenghewr 1918 rifle as it’s got BR 0 damage). There are so many better options for Germany that they should have included before this.
BR 1 armour
BR 5 gun
Obviously it needs to meet in the middle at BR 3. It’s literally simple maths.
Why is it a problem if the gun can take out heavy Russian tanks with ease?

It’s less about simple math and more about balance and placement, it’s going to be highly destructive in BR III. But literally anything can destroy it immediately, I’m not sure why someone would pick this tank over something else. I’m not saying people aren’t allowed at have free choice, I’m all for variety. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t they say then nashorn has two mg34s mounted on the side? Historically speaking, you could hold between 24 to 40 rounds of shells, and 600 rounds of ammunition for the mg. Which historically speaking only had a single mg that was not mounted Just carried inside of the cab of the tank. Typically tank cruise used mg34s or mg42s depending on what they can get their hands on. So if I’m correct and thinking that they announced this tank with two machine guns, then there’s already another issue. They’re breaking historical accuracy.
Glass cannon sounds balanced to me…. I’m going to use it purely because it’s an interesting tank just like how I use the dicker max. Mainstream tanks like the panzer 4 are boring and if players actually gave TDs a chance they would cry less against Russian heavy tanks.
There’s also heaps of photos of the tank with 2 mounts for MGs so it’s not historicity inaccurate at all.
You guys want paper mache armor Nashorn down to BR3?
This clearly wouldn’t be fair for USSR with T-34-57, KV1, KV2, and Panzerfausts,
come on guys
