Well the plane has to small payload for BR V plane so I suggest we give it more rockets or reduce its BR to IV what would you prefer?
As you can see the plane supports more rockets then J2M3 so we can add 4 more rockets to N1K2-J or just reduce its BR to IV.
There aren’t options for more than 2 rockets in WT, and if there were, it would likely be with the much weaker rockets avaliable, which would just be a nerf honestly. I think lowering it to BR4 as is would be perfect for it.
Ki-83 also had no 100 kg bombs 
But the plane needs some buff since its not competitive with other BR V fighters do to its weak payload.
I heard somewhere that the Ki-83 could carry a single 250kg bomb, that would be a nice upgrade. But the Ki-83 is better used as a fighter anyways to keep the skies clear for a Kikka to do the ground pounding.
Why not both? Lower it and give it 6 rockets, then lower the Corsair back down to BR4 as well.
Well also possible but needs testing and J5N1 can carry single 250 kg bomb can be BR IV ground attacker for Japan for Ki 83 sadly only 2 100 kg bombs. But yeah N1K2-J can be given 6 rockets and moved to BR IV also its not too much but they need to lower more props like the La-7 and AP-4C ,I-185 ,G55,BF G6, BF G14… pretty much all fighter class props that are BR IV should be moved to BR III and all fighter props that are BR V should be moved to BR IV.(including the premiums)
