I don’t believe the Armaguerra needs a faster reload. In fact, the Fedorov should get a slower one. I agree with the bayonet, and that applies to a lot of weapons across the board. Many have bayonet lugs that are missing bayonets.
Not really sure. I definitely support 4.0 seconds, but any faster is likely too fast. The Lee Enfields were known to be faster reloading as well as the Johnson, so it makes sense for the Gewehr 41 to be slightly slower.
That basically applies to all APCs. The Isuzu has a power to weight ratio in the negatives, as it comes to a complete stop whenever a squad spawns in it. And all the others are pretty lacklustre at hills too.
I almost think it should be faster. The PTRD is a single shot AT rifle, and I’m pretty sure it’s faster. I’m sure we could increase the PzB to that level or close to it.
Just give them the same option that the Soviets paratroopers have and UNLOCK the weapons so we can arm them with, like the Soviets do, any smg we choose.
As an owner of this squad, i’d rather the German squad get a German weapon/ change it to an Italian paratrooper squad. Or, better yet, open up the customization of the squad and let me do it myself!
This is already one of the best br1 smgs in game. There’s no reason to give it a bigger mag and raise it’s rating to BR2. It’s an exceptional squad for br1 and requires zero changes
It should have dynamic mag size depending the BR and if you get uptiered.
BR1 = 20 rounds
BR2 = 30 rounds
BR3 = 40 rounds
I can say same thing about OG-43 as it used same magazine so it should be easy to change. But start from 30 rounds at BR2 and give it 40 rounds at BR3. We can turn this squad into BR1 as it has 20 round at first.
Give Germany Celere Sahariano (BR2) so they could have fast nimble tank like Crusader.
Finally add 75/18 from game files with Heat rounds at BR1, and existing Semovente also should receive that round and stay at BR1 (BR1 players need it against Mk1 and M3 Medium).
We could get 105/25 M43 but with stronger APC round at BR2.
Give Germany VK 3002 (M) at BR3 as a counter against T-34 and KV-1.
Regarding the changes, before anything I think the first thing Germany/Western Axis needs is to clean up the tech tree. Either use folders or subtrees. I would prefer subtrees. Part of this is moving vehicles/Weapons under the actual BR they are. “Western Allies” need this is well.
For example, for the assault weapon line, move certain Italian SMGS like the FNAB/OVP/Beretta M1/M38-42 to a hypothetical Italian subtree. Then, you would have M38A at 20 rounds(BR1), 30 Rounds(BR2), and 40 Rounds(BR3). This declutters the tree for German enjoyers and also gives the devs a reason to buff the FNAB for the Italian sub tree. The same logic applies to rifles, the Carcano family could be moved to Italy for the most part. For all those wringing their hands about player count, subtrees would still queue with the main faction for the same battles.
Armaguerra is actually tricky, I could be wrong, but I do not think it was fitted for bayonets. If it did, I am all for it. I do think it should be moved to the hypothetical Italian subtree and replaced with a German/Czech/Hungarian alternative. Then in the Italian subtree add a variant of one the 4~ Italian gold order semi auto rifles we have, similar to how the T20 was for America.
