I have to give you the base, otherwise you’ll be a complete tree)

After all, talking to you here has changed something in me a little, I hope I won’t lose it.

Did the Soviet Union develop exclusive, more advanced domestically-produced anti-infantry mines and anti-tank grenades of their own?
There are quite a few unreasonable design choices in the game right now: the Soviet grenade is actually based on a French model, satchel charges share the exact same model for every nation, and the Soviet anti-infantry mine looks crudely manufactured, only slightly less shoddy than Japan’s mine.

I would like to find out whether the USSR independently developed bounding anti-personnel mines comparable to Germany’s and America’s during World War II, or domestically standardized grenades, instead of relying on imported foreign ordnance.

I noticed that a previous update changed the seat layout of Soviet troop transport trucks to match German half-tracks, with long benches running along both sides of the cargo bed, which looks very unnatural in-game.
While photos from Red Square parades do feature this side-mounted bench setup, I believe this layout was mainly designed for neat parade formations instead of practical frontline troop transport.

For maximum troop capacity in real combat, they should have adopted the crosswise seating layout seen on American and Japanese military trucks. I want to confirm the historical truth: what was the standard seating arrangement on Soviet military trucks used to carry troops on WWII frontlines?

I didn’t quite get it… But if you’re talking about TNT, then it’s the same for everyone in terms of stats, but outwardly they differ in national inscriptions.

It’s hard to ask to roll back what the developers did and forgot)

Wow, thanks for the reply. The placement and selection of Soviet grenades and other weapons always make it seem like a random hodgepodge of foreign ordnance obtained through trade.

Germany, the US and Japan all have their own iconic WWII hand grenades, while the Soviet Union only gets imported wartime goods and makeshift field-modified munitions, which comes off as crude and unrefined. I really think the Soviet arsenal should be updated with proper, domestically-produced original equipment.

I really couldn’t accept that previous update. They changed Soviet troop trucks to match the layout of German half-tracks: three soldiers sit side-by-side, yet the one in the middle cannot fire weapons, and a single bullet can easily pierce through all three of them at once. I was utterly confused why they ruined Soviet trucks with this silly design. Meanwhile, they added metal bars to American trucks to boost ricochet chances. I just read another forum post arguing that if German troops get access to transport trucks, Soviet trucks deserve to be reverted to their original layout.

РГ-42 It was a massive grenade, just like Ф-1.
Since production was cheap (they were harvested at a cannery, as evidenced by the shape of the grenade, similar to a tin can), it allowed production not to be rebuilt to something else.
The RG-42 is the same iconic grenade as the German M24)

I’m already trying not to seriously comprehend the developers’ moves.
Maybe they’ll figure it out someday.
I’m tired of talking about their mistakes.

That’s exactly how it is. Talking about DF’s decisions is even more frustrating than Americans complaining about EA,Or Sony.
