If the player leading the bots is an idiot, the bots will be idiots. No matter how good they are, if they are lead bad, they will be bad. If a player stands in the open or doesn’t sit on the point, the bots will get slaughtered or won’t contribute to their team. For the bots to be good soldiers they have to lead good.

It’s the same as when some random dude starts spamming the chat with “omg, shit team, useless”, despite having 0 caps, really 
But still, bots need a lot of work - I’ll often choose the path to surprise the enemy, but my bots just go:
– Oh, no, there’s three bricks and a tyre on that path, we’ll go through the front door and surprise the enemy with our spinning dance. We’ve been rehearsing for months, when the war is over, we shall perform in Bolshoy theater!
– B-r-r-r-r-r - goes the enemy MG
– Nevermind, please call an ambulance.

They may not die as quickly because the player has hidden them well - but they are still dumb shits.

But anyways yeah bots still need work and frankly will need work until the end of time. TBH before the last update that gave map splits the bots actually seemed semi competent. But after the update they feel more dumb. I have a theory for this
Bots run have some deep learning algorithm ( this is conformed ) so they get smarter every day. But my theory is that after every ai update their learning either goes deleted due to the new code. Or they put what they learnt in their normal code and that fucks up the learning somehow

You serious? They use DL to improve??? Holy crap, I hope they don’t use human players as the “source of truth”, because then most of them will have the intelligence of a stale piece of bread in my kitchen.
now I understand why they are idiots, if to teach to play bots they use the current “generation of players” whose only goal is to run and shoot while turning off the brain, I see it hard for bots to become smarter!
but at least they will not revolt and destroy humanity
