He also forgot commando squads exists.
He also forgot that at such a big distance (grey zone) there’s no way the Kugel could ever pen br3 Shermans frontally. (They even cannot at close range)
So many ways to take those out…

would have rather faced a king tiger is all I’m saying, at least I get to look at a KT instead of a pz4 with a cancer nub on top.
You blowing it out of proportion like this doesn’t make your point any more valid.
The Kugelblitz cannot serve as a substitute for your King Tiger or a skilled pilot at top tier. It merely offers ground‑based units opportunities to counter‑kill aircraft, or eliminate infantry while enemy tanks and anti‑tank operators are inattentive.
Your whole case is one unverifiable match. No replay, no squad comp, no context — just "“I had a bad game so this thing must be OP.” That’s not a balance argument, that’s a diary entry.
A paper-armored SPAA that can’t pen a BR3 Sherman frontally, farmed your team from the grey zone because nobody flanked, mortared, or brought a commando squad. Conscript_Joe spelled it out and you ignored it. “I’d rather face a King Tiger” is pure salt, not analysis.
Bring a replay and some actual objective conditions, or just admit this is a nerf request disguised as feedback. The forum’s already drowning in these low-effort complaint posts.
jocker
I played a few rounds of today, and the situation was the exact opposite: US planes kept making pass after pass, repeatedly blowing the turrets right off the anti-aircraft vehicles. They really ought to consider nerfing the aerial bombs on US aircraft; otherwise, it’s just too unfair—the ground ends up riddled with craters, and the German team basically gets pinned down and hammered from the air.
It’s 30mm HEI seems disproportionately more powerful than the usual 30-40mm HE from other tanks and might be considered as OP due to this. But other than that, i think it’s fine as it is. Tone down the HEI shells against infantry a bit(Especially the AoE dmg)would be enough.
Oh, one thing i’d noticed also is that Kugelblitz has belt fed “ammo” linked to the gun but it seems that even when those got blacked out by enemy shots it wouldn’t explode whatsoever. I might be wrong about this but yeah.
If anything the traverse needs to be increased by 5%-10% so it can actually keep up with aerial targets
