My thoughts on the current state of the game

I just wanted to share my feedback on recent update and express my feelings.

  1. Before the release of the previous major update, I was excited to hear that new decals would be added to the game.
    Two major updates later—still nothing.
    A huge disappointment. I literally got just baited, nothing less.

  2. Saboteurs

A completely useless class that goes against the basic principle of the game.
You always want to have as many bodies as possible at the objective, whether as defenders or attackers.
Saboteurs just add annoyance and frustrati
on to the game - when playin against them.

And they’ll most likely end up like the fuel bomb planes. Just wasted development resources that won’t ever be built on again. And they’ll end up being locked behind event-exclusive content (and potentially premium).
What a great improvement for the game.

Personally, I’d prefer it if the developers expanded and improved the existing classes in the game.
More TT squads for APCs, adding paratroopers to TT, etc.

  1. The new additions to TT are downright insulting.

The Americans and Japanese are still lacking BR4 rifles in the tech tree. Yet the rifle is one of the most important weapon types in the game. Given that they’re used by the widest range of classes, from engineers, AT gunners togunnersa or radio operators.

But I’ve gotten used to the fact that the developers couldn’t care less about what the game actually needs. They will just keep adding nonsensical content however it suits them.

  1. I won’t even mention the whole bizarre situation regarding the SF rifle nerf.
    I’m personally disappointed that it wasn’t implemented in the game (even though it had so many flaws). But oh well, whatever.
    I just hope SF rifles will eventually get recoil nerf. They’re clearly overperforming. And recoil nerf is what I would prefer most. I just hope it will be implemented in not-so-dumb way.

Honestly, I don’t understand at all why this update should be considered a major one. It’s literally just graphics update with some meaningless content.

Did devs really expect us to be excited about something like that?

This game was really important to me; I spent thousands of hours playing it or discussing its content on forum. But I’m starting to lose interest in it.

The game simply isn’t progressing in any meaningful way.
On the contrary, the developers are stuffing it with completely unnecessary content that doesn’t improve the game in any significant way.

Yeah I don’t really get it tbh. I can already sneak into the enemy back line with any squad type I want, especially with the already existing Guerillas. Why would I run a single man squad just to be sneaky? If I want to hunt rallies I would rather use a 9 man so that if I die before I get the rally I can still switch to the 8 other guys. Being able to wear enemy uniforms is not a good enough gimmick to make me feel like running a single man squad.

They could have improved the already existing squads that no one uses, such as Medics and Riders.

I have been questioning the business sense of Gaijin for quite a long time, and they just keep reaffirming my questioning of that business sense. They need to re-evaluate their direction while they still have a viable player base. I am down to only playing enough to complete daily objectives then I throw in the towel.

Finally some one understand me that’s why I abandon the game. Since there is no Japanese aircrafts for lower BRs added at all they continue adding all type of junk tanks not to mention there is not enough event rewards to use the new event slots with Japan. Wish I had the stupid Zero for BR III so I can move to some other BR then BR IV but sadly the game is keep pushing people to play higher BRs so I will have to ruin the game for the German BR V pilots since now I can equip a lot of Yak 3 aircrafts and this is when they added the new German aircraft :rofl: :joy: :rofl: Thats the only reson I play at the moment just to camp the losers trying to play the Do 335 cant imagine people thought this aircraft will solve anything :rofl: :joy: :rofl:

And the saddest part they given the Australian hats only to the event squad and not to the TT Australian squad…

They are keep adding things no one asked for.

The only good thing was the extra slot and the Cromwell not cuz its strong but since its iconic. There was also some BR changes that where good however again no BR changes for Aircrafts specially for Japan where everything is stacked at BR V. They could have given us real M6A2 at least for the Fighter Pilot I since its in the game.
