My thoughts on the BR5 assault rifle

It’s too late now, but I have something to say

Assault rifles should only be owned by Germany.
And the StG44 should be carried by riflemen, not assault soldiers. Historically, the StG44 never behaved like the MP40.

The FG42 is an automatic rifle that uses rifle ammunition, like the BAR and Johnson LMG. Therefore, it should be a machine gun like them. From what I’ve researched, the FG42 II has a rate of fire of about 600, which makes it a perfect machine gun for the BR3. It’s very similar to the KE7 and BAR. The FG42 I is a good fit for the BR4, as it’s very similar to the Johnson LMG.

Some may say that if only Germany had assault rifles, the balance would be off.

Look at the reality. It’s already broken.

I’m also tired of the Soviet mentality that every country should have the same things.
America has the P47, Germany has the StG44, Japan has the Katana, and the Soviet Union has body armor.
Everyone’s different, and everyone’s good.

Lastly, the sentences may be a bit strange. I’m using Translate.

Well, M2 Carbine and Japanese M2 still exist.

from another perspective, this is the only game where you can play short M2 carbine

I have the same thought about the Russian box ppSh since it was used by whole smg companies and the bar a2 for the US. Hopefully weapons like such like the stg, box ppSh and BAR get 2 BR’s like br3 for assaulters but it if you equip them to riflemen(standard riflemen only), they become br5

It’s way higher (830)

SF rifles are the only worth taking gun in BR5. If you take away all nations but German ARs, the balance actually does not change (maybe even it buffs the other nations because the average player start taking SF rifles only). The only way this could actually work somehow is by deleting every SF rifle in the game and then worry about how to balance MGs

yeah that’s not gonna happen lol

FG42 was almost exclusively used by paratroopers, so it can’t be considered a machine gun in Enlisted. It’s an automatic rifle that was much lighter than BAR and KE7. Johnson LMG is similar to FG42 but it was used as MG from the start by the US army.

Why not? It considers LMGs as SFRs after all and a makeshift M2 as Assaulter weapon so I guess there is not much in terms of standards.

IIRC the Johnson LMG was issued to Marine units and special forces, but not to normal US army units.

If I remember correctly, both the Johnson rifle and Johnson lmg were used primarily by paratroopers and even by the devils brigade.
