My thoughts on current vehicles

More and more players are realizing that the abuse of vehicles has increased after the merger.
I hate that as a defender you can abuse them unlimitedly for kamikaze attacks
The same is true for tanks. Unlimited deployment of tanks by the defender means that it is meaningless for the attacker to counter the tanks. It cannot create a fire gap for the attacker’s teammates.

In short, the vehicle problem needs to be permanently solved. My view on aircraft is to have all aircraft take off from the airport. This can greatly limit the problem of kamikaze attacks.

In addition, my view is to separate the manpower pool. Vehicles no longer consume manpower but consume a unique “vehicle manpower” pool. Both the offensive and defensive sides have vehicle manpower pools. This means that the deployment of vehicles will be quite tactical
You can deploy a large number of vehicles in a short period of time in exchange for a tactical advantage, but the price is that you may consume too many vehicle manpower and may not be able to deploy them later.

Based on the BR matching mechanism, I think it can also be adjusted. Low-level BR vehicles consume less vehicle manpower (this will prevent low-level players from deploying low-level vehicles in large numbers and excessively wasting vehicle manpower), while high-level vehicles Requires more vehicle manpower to deploy

This will greatly encourage competition between vehicles. Whether it is a fighter jet or a tank, as long as you destroy the enemy vehicle, the enemy will immediately suffer losses, which means that your efforts are no longer in vain, but are real. Will affect enemy vehicle deployment.

As the attacker, you can recover vehicle manpower by occupying strategic points. As the defender, you will have more vehicle manpower base than the attacker.

In fact, I have a relatively simple solution point of view
Added a longer vehicle cooldown for each player.
For example, if a player loses a tank, then the player cannot deploy the tank during the cooldown time. If the player loses an aircraft, similarly, he cannot deploy the aircraft within a fixed time. Kamikaze attacks should be punished and the cooldown time will be doubled.
But his teammates can still be deployed.

We can break it down further and divide the vehicles into: tanks, fighters, and bombers
And add a cooldown time to each type. If you lose a specific type of vehicle, you will not be able to deploy the same type of vehicle during the cooldown time.

This can effectively prevent players from deploying a large number of vehicles to conduct kamikaze attacks in a short period of time in exchange for tactical advantages.

Vehicles are not a person’s prerogative. If your vehicle is destroyed, then go to the ground and play infantry to change your mentality instead of immediately deploying another one.
Maybe your teammates also want to play, let them try it, instead of letting them watch you keep rotating.

This senario might be reversed, add man power to both team can creat sence of balance. Why defender has unlimited reserved but attacker didn’t? Reducing the time limit for each game can significant promoting people to get into the point. 25 min seems be to long for now

confrontation mode already exists where both sides have manpower, invasion mode would just turn like confrontation

Invasion may as well be COD Hard Point at that point

I think a simpler system would be to introduce a point system like we saw in the Titan rise event: you had to earn a certain score before you could spawn a mech. Just add that feature for tanks and aircraft, and it could be tweaked so more powerful vehicles require more points to spawn, limiting the frequency they could be used on a given map. This could be expanded to certain squads like paratroopers for the same effect

I’m also in agreement that there need to be airfields for aircraft to take off from, and in places where there can’t be airfields the planes should spawn much further away

i hate to be the one to say this but vehicle time out like you cant use another vehicle for 5 minutes after you die in one, or all vehicles are locked to after two troop squads

Given how easy it is to destroy a vehicle in game, you’re treating the symptom and not the root cause.

The root cause is a broken set of vehicle mechanics misaligned with a poor armour vs inf balancing model.

The solution is simple, regress the location fixing mechanic, improve the robustness of vehicle modules to certain weapon effects and reduce the AT Inf weapon spam, so that vehicles are representative of what they were historically on a WWII battlefield.

Then you can simply move to a WT like respawn system where you have 2 - 3 respawns per slot for vehicles, and maybe double that for Inf squads.

I think the timer for the respawn needs to be extended somewhat as force spawning the wrong team is annoying - often affected by lag or other connection based issues.
