Panzerfaust now is really weird and unrealistic compare to other AT weapons. Here’s my suggestions how to fix it:
Panzerfaust 60 weight is 6,8 kg. Soldier now can carry 5 of these. That’s 34 kg and he still can run, jump and swim! Every bomber should be able to carry only one (maybe 2 with special perk).
Because of 1st point, amount of bombers in regular squads shoud me increase to 2. Also we should add 2 more of them for bomber sqads in Berlin. We should be able to ressuply few single Panzerfaust from ammo box.
It should be enough - panzerfaust is really powerful compare to compared to their counterparts in other campaigns. 2 hits are usually enaught to kill tank. Try to do this in moscow or normandy :v
Panzerfaust should be more effective against infantry. C’mon it’s 1,7 kg of TNT and RDX and now it’s weaker than hand grenades. In Normandy open test it was perfect!
Barrel is still ugly. It should be 80 cm long and 5 cm width. I don’t know what dimensions are in game, but definitely not that.
It would be cool if iron sight were glowing in dark. Sometimes it was paint with fluorescent paint.
Thats why i said “1, max 2 panzerfaust for bomber”.Grenade launchers are used for many other things on battlefield, not only destroying tanks.
Tbh rifle grenades are not wort to use now. And I don’t see people using it.

Because the game is full of run and gun players. And rifle grenade launchers don’t fit that gameplay.

True. But if Berlin is remotelly close to what’s happening in the Normandy, I won’t change my mind.
And I still don’t see why AT grenade launchers should do the job of the rifle grenades.
IRL these would have been given to a lot more than one or two soldiers in a squad. The single bomber is effectively acting as the entire squad having Panzerfausts. This is generally good for balance, as it gives the bomber a few more chances to correct his mistakes (Even though I do believe the amount of ammo should be reduced to a minimum of 3), and as a result of the most effective AT weapon being on one soldier - Tanks have a chance to minimize the threat of being taken out by infantry by killing the bomber first.
As for the effectiveness, it should be rather obvious that the Panzerfaust’s power is in anticipation for when the heavier tanks are added. But, besides that, I believe Darkflow already mentioned their stance on explosives resupply. They’re not going to do it, as it would be easily abusable, especially in combination with the next point…
No. It IS 1,7 KG of explosive, but that explosive charge is a shaped one. It will kill if you hit it close enough, and it does so relatively well in game (From my own experience), but unlike a grenade it isn’t designed to throw metal fragments in every direction. Is it entirely realistic? No, but an argument for balance can be made here to avoid them being used as room clearing devices.
It’s not the size that matters…
It would be an interesting addition, but considering the game doesn’t get all that dark I fail to see the point in implementing this feature.
I think Bomber already got training from the Engineer who carries 2 AA guns, 1 At gun, 10 walls of sandbags, 10+ metres of barbed wire and multiple checz hedgehogs
Shaped charge doesn’t mean it all explode in one direction, everywhere around it’s as deadly for people as non-directional charge. M24 grenade have 10 times less explosive mass and also doesn’t make a lot of metal fragments (it’s offensive grenade so only thin shell and explosive filler. Panzerfaust has even thicker shell than it). It’s still more powerful than Panzerfaust…
I know it would be kinda op but i really hate that CoD/BF-style solutions for balance like “hmm 20mm gun on AAA is really OP against infantry, lets make it deal same damage to them as 7,62”
And unfourtunetly Panzerfaust in now ballanced in CoD/BF-style
