I really like this game, but there are some points I’d like to see improved/changed:
- Balistics: From what I’ve experienced the game features a hitscan system without any ballistics, which means shots just keep moving straight. I don’t like this, most other shooters feature a hitscan system with a slight ballistic simulation of bullet drop. I’d like to see this added, as the game would feel a lot more authentic and fun if you have to aim more with a sniper rifle and an 8x scope. Right now Snipers are overpowered due to basically being a fucking 1 man railgun of death. All Rifles from this period are fitted with a sight that allows for ranges from 100 meters to 1000 meters(sometimes more), so it would be nice to use those.
- Ammo: I’d like to see either the ammo capacity increased to 30-40 rounds, or being able to automatically scavenge for ammo when walking over dead bodies. Also if you equip a second gun of the same type it should double your ammo, not use the same 20 pool. Also, it would be nice to take the ammo out of a(for example:)Non-Scoped Springfield and load it into the Scoped Springfield.
- Movement: The movement is still a little wanky, I love the freedom you have in this game, especially compared to H&G, but you get stuck on everything and sometimes you have to try for 2 minutes in order to get your gun to pop out of the windows at the angle you like. This game is in Beta / Alpha atm so I give them slack, this can be improved in two ways: changing the movement system to be better, or change the maps and make the collision boxes a little more forgiving. Also when you run it feels like your body is a sack of potatoes that don’t wanna turn, unless you are trying to walk up the stair, then it turns like crazy, really weird how it feels sometimes.
The same goes for vehicle movement, this also feels really weird and I think the devs should play some War Thunder and base the feeling of tank movement on that game, cause in Enlisted it feels like we are ice skating.
- Sounds: I’d like to see the gun sounds change a little, they sound too muffled and they need a bit more weight added to them, this can easily be done by increasing the low bass, but again this is a beta/alpha game so that can easily be improved around release time.
- AI: Well obviously the AI is nowhere close to being acceptable, but that’s obvious enough that the devs know that this is an issue and that’s going to be fixed before it releases.
- Spawn Camping: Spawncamping luckily doesn’t happen due to enemy infantry 99/100 times, but planes do have a tendency to drop their load right when 1 or 3 squads spawn, which is just annoying. In my opinion, something needs to be done, like a spawn protection zone or time.
- Map Design: On some of the maps that have 1 side defending and 1 side attacking has the teams spawn practically on top of each other, which makes it hard for the defending team to set up their defences and makes the engineer role rather useless. On other maps it’s the opposite, look at the beach map, the Germans get plenty of time to set up and murder away. But on the castle map in Russia, the defending side immediately gets into combat within 15 seconds of spawning and starting the match.
