Well, with over 2,500 games played with the Allies
and over 2,300 with the Germans, I finally got my
1,000 Soviets game in the books. 
Impressive?
I think not, but not terrible for a half blind old man.

Do you think maybe it’s because the rifles used in the former Soviet Union were completely junk, that’s why there were so many casualties caused by submachine guns?

Lol no not the reason.
Rifle kills are only counting bolt-action rifles and no sane veteran is playing BR1 soviets.
That leaves us with BR2 and BR3.
BR3 GL mosins, but no one is using GL rifles since they got the second nerf.
BR2 has Winchester 1895 but he is obviously using the most OP BR2 semi auto, Fedorov 1912 instead and is prob cycling SMGs.

I SUCK with bolt action rifles. To be honest, the ONLY time I use a bolt action is in my own two man custom match games, and that is only practice to try and get better with them.
So, I’m afraid my rifle numbers will SUCK for quite some time.

Being legally blind in one eye, I usually try to avoid bolt action rifles all together if I can. If it sprays and prays, I use it.

Here is the total faction record. Your kill/death ratio is much higher, as are your rifle kills. My rifle kills are pathetic. Being retired helps in my playing time since now all I have is time. However, I don’t play near as much as I used to. At one time I was playing 20-30 games a day, now I am just playing enough to complete my daily objectives.
You need more japanese melee kills.

Well this depends how much you play im also super demotivated to finish the 1000 battles on a single faction.

I don’t get a lot of melee kills in general, as I am usually still trying to shoot the enemy at point blank range instead of using a melee weapon. In fact, I would dare to say the majority of my melee kills are done by my bots. 
Congratulations and nice stats. I am almost at the Devil’s number myself, just 3 games short. And no worries about the rifle kills, those calling it out often have most of their kills from using vehicles so they aren’t ones to talk either.
Keep up the good work and have fun, that’s the most important part anyway.

I have very few tank kills, I just don’t enjoy playing with them as much so I rarely use them in real battles. Back when I used to play War Thunder pretty much all my games were played in tanks, which I think got me bored with them, thus not using them in Enlisted.

I didn’t even start flying planes until I had over 1,500 games played, and my first 1,450 post merge games were all played with Allies, which is why their plane stats are considerably lower in comparison. Soviets, Germans and Japanese I started flying much sooner in comparison. Pre merge, no plane kills what so ever.
