My selfless / selfish request about Practice Mode

Hi Devs,

I know you say you watch the forums, though I am not sure if you watch those who create content (videos) as well on your game. I’ve been trying to devote some time to training and helping new players as much as I can, however there is a limit to being able to do that. Thus, this request.

I would love to see all the Available Campaign maps, if at all possible, to be available in training, and here is why.

  1. Allows new Players to freely roam the campaign maps and get a sense for the layout instead of being thrown into the grinder on day 1
  2. Allows established Players the chance to play around with their engineers and practice fortifications (those who know how to fortify, my hats off as you have won the game more times than I can count)
  3. Lastly, but most importantly (and selfishly I know) it would allow content creators, like me, to create better training and practice videos if we can actually show players certain things on maps , etc without shells, bullets, and occasionally in my case self inflicted Det Pack deaths, to be happening.

The Maps already exist, all you need to do is allow us access to them in training. As a bonus too, maybe it will help players learn how to drive Tanks in the actual terrain they are facing off in, and not this nice perfect flat thing they have now.

This would be great, I’m still learning maps and ability to freely roam them would surely help and especially for driving tanks, I got stuck in a trench that was not visible from the driver’s view port so many times so practising where you can drive and where you get stuck would also be great.

No, learning the maps is part of the experience … However you can use CB’s now if you want to learn the maps in a more causal environment …

For me CB’s against bots replaces practice range …

Good suggestion.
I dare say we would also need a full training mode, where players (friends, clan members) can join and practice/train. Sort of a closed battle (with joining only by invitation) without XP gain.
