Well, we have official stats as it is, considering we have the figures in game, and if you don’t trust the stat card, you can test turret rotation rate, blast radius of the HE, as well as armor penetration angles on the practice map. (and live games, though it’s more difficult)
You might not like the fact that there are legitimate cases where Germany is objectively disadvantaged against Allies on one of the campaigns, but that is the case in the Panzer IVJ vs T-34-85 D-5T on Berlin.

I mean winrates provided by Dev. Germans still win 6/10 matches when vs me on Berlin, i say its balanced
Meanwhile, I lost my last 5 matches as Germany on Berlin, and I’m still tracking a 32% WR as Germany on the whole.
I’m also up to 17 matches played as the Soviets without a single defeat on Berlin.
My personal experience is 10-15% win rate in the first two CBT weeks and now about 40-45%, and if there’re 3-4 Soviet real playes at level 15 we would definitely lose.
Don’t bother debating with us infantry… He openly admited he hates germans… AND the players who main them (!)

Anyway the balance besides the tanks seems fine, I say just give the Kraut’s the panzer 4H and they should be fine when it come to real balance the rest is the fault of the teams when it comes to win rate not balance same shit happened in Moscow in CBT the Kraut teams were stomping the Commies and the Russia mains cried about Germany being too strong, Germany got nerfed into the ground and we were still stomping the USSR and yet they had all the advantages on paper and still asked for more nerfs, then Germany got a buff back to a reasonable state and we kept winning of course and then OBT came and an 180 happened, i my self switched to Russians day one and for quite some time the Germans were being destroyed out of the sheer volume of new player influx to the German side

T-34-57 vs Panzer 4 H would be a perfect match up
However, very few T-34-57’s were built, and most didn’t see service after 1943, thus while it would be a more fair matchup, a T-34-57 would be better suited for premium or gold order status than a mainline campaign vehicle.
Yeah now looking into it 10 built is waay too little. But then I’m pretty stump as too what a good match up for the Panzer 4 H would be. But the T-34-57 as a premium or gold order tank would be useless since the T-34-85 exist
Like I said, the Panzer 4H would just be making things a bit more fair vs the D-5T, not totally on par. meanwhile, a Tiger 1 or Panther D would be slightly better than the T-34-85 D-5T, on the other end of things. There’s not really any vehicles I know of in-between those you can give the Germans that were in service.
