My last suggestion before OBT (hopefully last)

After playing this game since September, I will summarize all my key goals on this game. These goals are not focused on dreams but on major issues that should be fixed. Let’s start with what I like about this game:

1. Combined arms gameplay
This is one of the main reasons why I even started playing Enlisted. Combined arms gameplay allows all types of players to enjoy this game, from FPS veterans to vehicle simulator fans. Damage models are as realistic as they can get, this game is definitely immersive in that regard and original

2. The idea of AI squads
AI squads fill the map emptiness most WW2 games have, the only issue is that these need a lot of rework.

3. Graphics
Graphics are beautiful and I thought this game is going to be buggy on my GTX-1060TI but I never experienced a single bug or packet loss, great job.

4. Gun physics
I love how hard it is to aim in Enlisted, there is no zero-recoil garbage like in CoD and Battlefield. The only issues I have here are that some bolt action guns reload too fast and some SMG’s have too small recoil (M2 Hyde and MP-41)

Thank you for reading this part. I would like this game to succeed and be original, I’m writing all this not to complain about the game but to make it even better :slightly_smiling_face:
Let’s proceed with the stuff I dislike about the game:

1. Planned Gold
I hope this predatory monetization is not going to see the light of a day. All my complains about this can be found on my post about monetization. I will not put a link because few players have access to that section.

2. Small maps and meatgrinder
Devs promised me they will fix this but I don’t know if they kept their promise. Maps have to be more open and capture zones have to be located outside and not inside the buildings in order to reduce the meatgrinder.

3. Premium squads
They are just P2W

4. Capture circle
I hope there is a better solution than cap circle. One player suggested planting explosives on key buildings and cannons is better than sitting in a circle and meatgrinding each other.

5. No weapon limits
In order to prevent players from arming all their soldiers with rare weapons like StG-44, Winchester…etc. we have to bring a system that will limit the use of these rare guns.

My other ideas

These are some suggestions taken from polls and topics where I got a lot of positive feedback.

1. Why is Germany included in all 4 campaigns?

Why not introduce Italy or Japan?
Having Germans on all 4 campaigns is going to devide the german main playerbase and kill the win-rates for Axis

2. Conquest should be Lone fighters exclusive

Conquest is not a good gamemode for squads, it will mess up the future development. Either make it more open or give it to lone fighters.

3. Asymmetrical balance

I know I will get a lot of backflash for writing this but my polls have proven majority wants to see asymmetrical balance too. It’s just that players who post the most often are exactly those who disagree with this idea so I don’t care about the backflash I will get.

Asymmetrical balance is giving teams different advantages/disadvantages. For example: giving Germany better MG’s and Bolt action rifles making them stronger at defending but also giving American more semi automatic guns making them better at attacking.

I ask for devs to give us a small playtest where they can test the asymmetrical balance. Not some huge update…just a small playtest is enough. Asymmetrical balance takes some time to be balanced but it CAN be balanced

5. Remove sandbag MG’s!!!
Everything can be found on these 2 topics:

Someone removed all my polls (maybe an angry moderator) but community wants lafette MG-34/42 and shielded Maxim guns.
They also want M1919 on tripod

See you in OBT :slightly_smiling_face:

Got to disagree about how hard it is to aim - I can hit someone at 200m in Enlisted with a bolt action rifle - that’s a great deal better than my efforts in real life - vs a paper target only of course, but with no one shooting back!

I agree with you that the Axis is all about Germany.
Also, there are many games with Japan and Italy in them, but I don’t see many games with Hungary or China.
In the future, I’d like to see a game with an unparalleled wealth of nations, like the Forgotten Hope Mod for BF1942…

WWII China is sorely overlooked. We need some Ichi-Go.

I just like small maps.

There do has some weapons of JP

BTW, now game has suomi SMG and lahti LMG. If next, winter war?

I agree that Winter War might be awesome (and not so common I dare to say) addition after “main” campaigns are released (that is until at least each of major ww2 nations is present once in the game).

Before I joined Enlisted’s CAT, I was busy playing RS2 Winter war mod.
I used these two weapons a lot…

I think we definitely need something like game mode selector.

Or just adjusting the modes

If we get a mode selection, everyone will select Invasion

Just making conquest for lone fighters is better imo

That’s true. I’m just wondering whether they are playing their own games.

they are ‘‘ToO bUsY DeVeLoPyNg tHe GaMe’’

In their defense, I don’t play my own game either. I develop it and rely on a small scale internal testing team to give me feedback.

Honestly if you spend hours on end developing a game you really will not feel like playing it afterwards as it will feel like work, instead of a game.

Exactly the issue,
By playing, devs can see issues, bugs, glitches, unbalance…etc by themselves

Now, I can’t tell you how to develop your own game, I never made a game in my life and probably never will (I’m bad at programming). But I think when players complain SO MUCH IN CBT, devs should try playing and seeing for themselves

If a game has a lot of positive feedback, Devs don’t need to play their game

If a game has almost ONLY negative feedback in the early stages of beta, Devs can’t just not play the game
