All AA guns got nerfed. Which means they are even more useless then they are already are. I play normandy german and AA gun is a very important weapon to fight against the overwhelming american planes so i will consider this as a big nerf to the germans.
paratroopers… IDK. I didnt purchase the preorder and i am not that rich or stupited to plan wast a week’s food money on 2 squads. But I have played 2 games and met someone uses american paratrooper. I dont really know if they are powerful or not but in that game I was shocked about how bad devs has been nerfing AA guns and then I see para troopers dropping out of the sky then I just go there and killed them all with my fg42 engineering team.

I hate it when they do these kind of ninja patches.
Yes they announce major changes to the game, but the little things that actually make the difference between something being “useless or overpowered” have been changed so often in the last year, that I’m not sure anymore what the “regular” gunplay experience is like anymore…

AA was not used so often, the American planes are really strong in normandy and then you have a havy nerf of the AA. I do not understand what they thought…

I was shot down 6 times in my p47 and a20 bomber today while trying US Normandy, are you sure its as nerf as it says? What about other factions? did you try bother testing other factions AA for balance?

They nerfed ammo racks explosion chance so Murrican tanks are completely useless against German tanks like Panther or Tiger since they can’t detonate anything with AP no HE filler shells.
I guess Darkflow want us to play as meta as possible:
Allies 3 planes on rotation if you can’t spawn plane then go afk because everything else is trash (except flamethrower, sniper rifle and hip firing m2 carbine)
Axis 2 tanks + smg mp43/1+fg42 squad on rotation, no point in eng squad since buildable AA are useless now and planes are crap anyway.
Normandy doesn’t sound really fun or exciting to play, they ruined it.

I got after long play the Panzer 4 and only firing smoke against that beast. American tanks a strong in Normandy.
The only way to play Allied tanks in Normandy is to use Jumbo and M4A1 76 mm. Jumbo offers some protection against Panther and Tiger, but not for too long. If you get killed you take the 76 mm one and take the revenge 
only thing stopping the jumbo from getting completely rolled over by the panther and tiger 1 is it’s armor though the armor does have it’s weakspots such as the cupola (which the tiger can go through) but it’s firepower is in the gutter because m72 is fucking dogshit

because axis players spammed aa when they could and it made it unfair for American planes
American jumbo is not strong lol, I’ve used it and even an experienced puma player can kill a Jumbo

Jumbo cant kill Panther nor Tiger, not from the front, it has a 75mm cannon that sucks
Jumbo basically is just a panther with a far weaker gun

I assume you meant 75mm cannon (infantry support gun). I’m sure one day the jumbo 76mm will be added, and eventually other Heavy tanks (perishing). There’s a lot of room to grow.
Also now you get stabilizers on the Shermans. Will be nice to attack on the move

Unfair? The American planes are far stronger then the German ones. 10 Rockets and two 227 kg bombs and 12 MGs… American planes can creat such a damage, for sure the germans need some counter with the AA. If you do not fly a straight line you will not easily get killed by aa.
You have to reconsider, the jumbo is available at lvl 20, the Tiger around 36. The most American get early a Jumbo were you have long time Tanks wich can not damage it.
that cupula shot can be done with the pz4s iirc, i do know that the 4s can just get a slight enough angle on the jumbo they can send a round through the lower side armor

You have to drive fare around the jumbo to get any chance. The jumbo is way superior to the Panzer 4. Take a look at the angle you need to make a hit at the jumbo in the Hangar. It is really hard with everything under the panther.
