There is already “random army” option for matchmaking which will give you exp multiplier. But that’s just 4 different BRs, one for each Army. It would be interesting to see natural expansion of this: allowing to form multiple setups, in theory up to 20 BRs, probably with diminishingly increasing rewards for each additional BR setup you maintain
It should incentivise players to make a gaming experience less stale by rotating more setups, help Gaijin close online problems with matches full of bots, finally make BR4 make sense as an “additional BR setup that will give you bigger boost”, and incentivise players to spend more on equipment. It seems like a win-win for everyone and hopefully it will end matchmaking into bot lobbys
Even better would be to display reward rates for each Army/BR as a sort of “current market price based on demand” but lets be realistic

So for clarity, are you trying to say that they should introduce a system where you can queue up as multiple different presets for a given faction at once and get put into a random BR? That would be interesting

Yes, I already play with BR3 soviets, BR2 americans and germans, and BR5 japanese. The game matches me at basically every level in general, but not let say any level in Japan, and I miss my type 38 somewhat. I do enjoy both different playstyles and additional rewards, and so I think it makes sense to expand this idea by making use of those unused unlocked squads and weapons collecting dust
It could be interesting, but they’d also probably have to make it so different presets changes the equipment of your squads as well. You wouldn’t be able to use overlapping vehicle squads, APCs, or infantry squads otherwise, so if you only have the TT APC then you’d be forced to pick one BR to use it at

It might sound controversial, but I kinda like that. I have a mild fatigue from meta squads, always either assault or machineguns, I’d like to try something new, but the game wont reward me at all for doing so. With this system it would make sense to run meta squads on high BRs and mediocre squads on lower BRs (with less experienced players). You’d have to decide which high performing squads assign where, making tradeoffs, it’s a bit interesting imo. But I’m fine with them implementing “cloned” squads, tho I think they wouldn’t, because then there would be less incentive to buy additional good squads for gold
That’s true, plus it isn’t as impactful towards the F2P players who don’t have to fill 10 squad slots

Another plus is having a reason to use not-the-best-but-still-good equipment and grunts, otherwise they just collect dust (BR4)
I think a good tradeoff in this system would be to allow like ~4 squad clones per player which will give new F2P players some room to breathe, but force veteran players to make tradeoffs or potentially donate to make more clones if they really want to (additional monetization route for greedy snail)
Can someone explain why they think it’s a bad idea? Like, it’s an option to farm even more + helps with matchmaking issues. Where are the downsides?
It 's a really good idea!
And, I think, the next step should be : presets for map/campaign, like that you can choose the camo for your vehicule according to the map (= more camo to buy= more money for dev) and some units (for exemple if u want to deploy your italian only in Tunisia , or your chineese only in Pacific ) .
HA lovers will love it .
