Mud and poor terrain

From a quick Google search, a person standing straight up produces more ground pressure than a tank.

However mud problems can be mechanical as well, like mud getting stuck in the matilda’s skirts.
That and just not having traction in general and not being able to step out.

If we see deep snow and sand dunes those should cause tanks to slide as well.

So then add deep snow for Moscow, mud for Normandy and sand for Tunisia

For Berlin, I can’t think of anything

Just slowing most tanks by 75%-40% in my opinion. If you want to go off road you’ll pay the price.

No, tovarisch, you see, stalinium is heavy, but russia has top sekret plan to reduce its weight to zero.
Through the power of communism, we all share a bit of the weight of the tank in our hearts, and as such the tanks become light as a feather.

Also, on a serious note and related to the topic at hand, yes, mud and snow should make it harder to traverse terrain.
I’d argue in favor of each type of terrain providing different advantages and different disadvantages. For example sand being easier to slide on, could be an advantage if you need to turn fast but also work as a disadvantage making it easier to lose vehicle control when trying to turn at higher speeds.

Cool idea
It will make some immersion between campaigns. Snow slowing down the tank, mud getting the tank stuck, and sand making the tank slide and messing with the transmission and wheels

Yes, and I believe war thunder already has this on some maps, so it should be easy to implement

Most tanks didn’t lose even nearly that much speed. Puma, maybe. But all other tanks would generally only lose 10-30% of their speed.

But first they have to make the trenches cross-able for tanks.

I know, I got confused between the chats (when you are talking about similar things in two different chats…) I gave example for the matilda and valentine at showy area

he cant vote even if he resets, because he’s only CBT, not a tester

I reset the poll to take out the line of it checking what group you’re in.
