It seems you can no longer equip MP43s to tankers/pilots. Among the other nerfs it received it is now locked to assaulters only.

its makes sense, mp43 was a big gun, space in tanks are limited, i think only the commander cold have one of these

I mean I agree, pilots and tankers jumping out with MP43s is kind of dumb. Just haven’t seen anyone mention it. I happened to stumble across it when I was seeing who I could give the MP43 to in Berlin.
agree, at the game i home engineers could get smgs, Pioners have these in ww2.

The engineers in Stalingrad can use the MKB 42 which makes sense historically

Well it was used by bomber pilots, no fighter pilot is carrying a huge shotgun in the cockpit

Still makes no sense not to have it on pilots either way
strange I can still use them on those units which had them equipped before the patch, but once I remove the STG, I can not reequip them.
