They nerfed it in Normandy as well? I didn’t get it here yet, but yeah, too many nerfs = heroes and generals. They should’ve learnt from their demise…
Have they changed today? Shit. Assault rifle with damage cut? And who asked for that?
Against the Fedorov, which damage allows you to kill the enemy with one shot.
LOL, forum is full of main German players.
When nerfing US/Soviet side’s stuff. All kinds of cheers.
When nerfing German side’s stuff. All kinds of excuse.
What can I say…
Most changes are not critical except few unpleasant moments:
- In Berlin campaign ROF nerf is critical since devs give soviet side Fedorov to be equal with FG 42. It’s just unlogical to nerf MP 43 without nerfing soviets’ SMGs.
- Availability of MP 43 for tankers and pilots should be compensated since ppl most likely have wasted silver orders for them. But this limitation is quite unlogical since at least tankers used theese kind of weapons.
I have a small hope that they simply changed its category to AR without actually thinking that it has reduced stats in Stalingrad, mistake in my opinion. Otherwise it’s a disaster and absurd
???
Only reload speed, and personally I was against that
Okay, you can compare Fedorov Avtomat to MP 43. First one one shots and second not. Already huge disbalance.
The only nerf they are testing is in Stalingrad with a little lower rof, limitation for class and bigger recoil. There is no such nerf in other campaighns.
People really agreed on that? Bought berlin cbt last year and after unlocking VG never removed it from active squads, i will always keep atleast one squad equipped with it and never noticed any big difference. If i remember right rof was nerfed but that nerf got partially removed and its fantastic weapon currently
Never liked VG1-5.
FG42/II: what are you joking of?
FG gives you the anwser at LV21. And Fedorov is at LV32.
Do you want a 9-soldier FG squad or a 4 soldier (has) Fedorov squad?
Dont forget you must pick either a PPSH41 or a Fedorov. Germans may use the FG42 and MP43 at the same time
I’m going to say what I always say, and none of you are going to like it.
As long as it can still kill people, it will be good.
So unless they made it completely impossible to hit a target past 20 meters, I’m not worried.
I consider enlisted weapons to be almost aesthetic changes barring a few exceptions here and there (FG-42 for high fire rate and low recoil, mg34 patrontrommel for mag size, for example) due to the fast ttk.
Not a lot of people share my sentiment in this regard, but I don’t see it any other way.
I was so hyped for the STG in Berlin (Why mp43?) for looks alone.
6star .45 acp - 8.2damage, mp43 - 8 damage.
Pistol round now more powerful
Full star .30 carbines-8 damage
Same, but .30 less powerful than 7.92x33
That is full starred .30 carbine compared to a stock 7.92 kurz, a full starred kurz is 8.8
my apologies, I haven’t gotten to the game yet, but the news has already disappointed me.
Yes, the .30 does less damage than the .45 acp, which is odd, but it’s a reason to look there.
The 0.6 damage difference seems like a ridiculous advantage for the “assault rifle” that is the mp43 over the Thompson. I don’t see a single reason for such a nerf (rate of fire, damage, reload rate).
In Berlin the mp43 went up against the Fedorov, which has many pluses (in some ways it loses), in Normandy the US was given the new best machine gun in the game, which is not bad and I am not against it.
But to ruin a legendary weapon is idiotic.
While at the same time in Berlin: absurdly OP Fedorov, combined with -40% perk highly controllable, x2 times more accurate than MP43/1(Mp43/1 and STG44 has literally x2 dispersion compared with Fedorov according to datamining), and does 11.5!!! damage when fully upgraded:
Yeah. So they sent the most iconic axis firearm in the “average sub par compartment”. Berlin isn’t worth grinding anymore for me, just like Moscow. I’ll from now on become an allied Normandy main, their weapons are funny and they’re not blatantly better like Soviets ones.
Meanwhile, Stalingrad has somewhat balanced weaponry. Not a bad campaign
