Germany’s Tier 2 weight boasts the worst submachine gun among all nations, with the MP40 having a rate of fire of only 570 rounds per minute and a damage of 7.0. This is completely unable to gain an advantage against the Soviet Union’s plate armor and PPS43. Therefore, I suggest enhancing the MP40, increasing its rate of fire from 570 to 600+ rounds per minute and raising its damage to 7.2. I hope this suggestion will be adopted.

At this point, unless the Dev’s are going to buff the shit out of the MP40 they should probably just drop it to level one. However, the sad thing is the MP40 is one of the guns the Dev’s actually got fairly correct in it’s performance, they just over buffed damn near everything else.

BR2 has the highest number of SMGs of any BR. There’s definitely not a single reason for adding more of them. Especially in such nonsensical manner.

TS is biased towards Axis nations, ALL topics about buffing JP or GER side.
That was not my point. My point is that BR2 is overbloated with smgs, and especially with German smgs. And thus I would prefer it to stay in BR3.
And if needed, they should either buff them or rework the double mag mechanics.
Because currently it’s just not implemented well. The fact that you can’t reload into a second mag by pressing R (you always just replace the entire double magazine with a new one) is extremely unintuitive.
You are forced to always completely deplete the first magazine of a double stack.

Well the MP40/1 and the EMP44 just don’t have the killing power as more typical BR3 smgs such as the PPSh-41 box or Type 100 late. I fundamentally don’t believe this to be powercreeping because the power of the MP40/1 would already be just fine for BR2. I’d even argue the PPS-43 is better than the MP40/1 because the dual mags is just a fun but otherwise underwhelming gimmick
Stop comparing them with top meta smgs of the BR.
Not to mention they’re more similar to stuff like PPD 1944 than to PPS 43.

well PPD 44 is way worse then anything in BR2 except the Mag Size, same with MP40/1

It’s an average BR2 weapon but with 71 mag. So it deserves to be BR3.
