Move type 99 late MAS 36 M1917 enfield to br1 from br2

why is a 5 round bolt action br2
when all other round 5 ba’s are br1
mas 36 should be br1
20 is standard ba damage and 57 rpm falls in line as well

Because it’s French.

I think it’s reasonable.

Are you suggesting that it should BR1?
If so than please specify that in both title as well as in the suggestion itself.

Its def among the better bolties, the only issue is that there is no clear difference between BR1 ans BR2 bolties.
I think the difference should be more clear by moving them around in BR, nerfing and buffing rifles (basically overhauling bolties).

the only br2 bolties i know are 10 round whats better about the mas 36 then other bolties

Winchester and Mannlicher M95 are both BR2 bolties with 5 rounds (though tbf they are really good) and there is at least one type 99 and probably also the Ross rifle and the M1917 enfield.

I was joking. There’s no reason why 5 round BA without the new camera feature should be BR2.

Well I think the BR of the weapon depends on dose it surrenders before its being fire or after

I checked the stats.

Mas 36 has the third best fire rate among Axis bolties which is hella decent, only falling behind prewar Kar98 (69 rpm) and Mannlicher 1895 (76 rpm).
Overall BR1 bolties have 62 rpm or less, the only exceptions are Mannlicher M93 (66 rpm but is legacy gun) and Type 38 (72 rpm).

I think its clear that Mas-36 is actually a BR2 rifley but Type 38 is NOT a BR1 rifle as is.

Mannlicher is way too superior to MAS. Plus it already has the camera feature.

Pre war Kar is kinda meh. Slightly better rof in tradeoff for significantly worse sights.

That is also true, but I think BR2 bolties should be buffed up to 70-72 rpm instead of dropping every single bolt-action to BR1.

Well, I think they should just keep 10 round BAs for BR2.

Especially with the new camera, I enjoy the British ones so much. And I don’t even need 70+ rof with them.

57 base vs 66 upgraded i think it would get far more use if the rof was dropped to 62 0r 60 at br1
but the m1895 is 76 and the murata 22 is 69 so i gues a buf into the mas 36 could work but i would want 74-73 just a tad below the m1895 at br2

Winchester 1895 -lever-
Mannlicher M95 -straight pull-
Ross rifle -straight pull-
Are able to stay on target so benefit from a high rate of fire

type 99 late
MAS 36
M1917 enfield
are standard bolt action thus do not benefit from a high rate of fire as much as the above three
that is because each shot fired then requires the soldier to reacquire the target before shooting a another shot

if i remember correctly the mas-36 has the fastest bayonet attack in the game so combining it with perks turns it into a chainsaw

It has an insanely fast melee.

so a gun that as a gun is br1 but a b3 bayonet so b2 ok,
