In no way is 6 M8 rockets on the same level as 10 HVARs. Not to mention that if you don’t have the legacy squad from Normandy then you have to choose between this and the TT P-47 for a BR5 attacker, and there’s no reason to ever choose the M8s.
At BR4 it would be a better fit, acting as a side-grade for the A-20G by trading raw ordinance for a better performing platform.
