this thing is not very useful in the current state of the game, having only rockets for AT,such a low number of ready rockets, very long reload, armour so thin you die to artillery (even when your out of rockets),the rockets are fairly hard to aim,and an MG that overheats way too fast.and the rockets are very hit and miss with the tanks, you can dump 7 rockets into just a normal sherman and it survives.the rockets are quite similar to the calliopes, even though the calliope gets a ton more rockets, has a LOT more armour,a 75mm cannon, and 2 good tank MGs that overheat fairly slowly.having this at BR3 would be better because there it wont always fight invincible IS2s and jumbos all the time, and the katyusha is BR2 and no one complains about that, and it has more rockets and some real armour.and considering even just a panzer 4F2 or any long 75 variant is infinitely more practical than it and the hefty price tag ensures you wont see it too often.
No
You keep your cancer rocket spammer in high tier
And the katyusha donst count as that?more rockets than panzerwhefer and real armour.we get a truck with a few rockets on it and you get a full fledged tank with 60 rockets, and they are the same que.
I wouldn’t call it spammer. It has literally only 20 rockets. And after those are depleted, you can either go replenish then (which basically nobody does, since the halftrack is awfully slow) or use its crew as 3 men smgs assaulters.
I believe it should be BR3. And I hope we finally get more queues so BR1 will never have to face BR3 again.
BR4 is too high.
Any tank with a short 75mm cannon that spams HE can basically do its job at a lower BR.

When?
How does one aim that?

Did a quick comparison in the practice range as I have neither vehicle, wish I knew how to add an excel sheet here so please bear with a wall of text instead.
BM-8-24
Armament: 82mm rockets.
Max ammo cap: 24 rockets.
Aiming: limited angles (feels like 45 degrees, I have to move the tank a lot to adjust), bad gun depression (-3 degrees, terrain matters a lot). Your point of aim switches WITH EACH SHOT.
AT capabilities: you can kill the Italian armored car from the front and Pz3 and Pz4 from the side.
AT damage: you can disable the gun of a Pz2 but can’t pen it, even from the side.
Panzerwerfer
Armament: 158mm rockets + remote-controlled MG42.
Max ammo: 20 rockets, 2500 MG ammo.
Aiming: 360 degrees (you can aim through commander when aiming in front of the vehicle to get vision), good gun depression -7 degrees, which allows you to shoot comfortably on an incline. Point of aim DOES NOT switch with each shot, no adjustment needed.
AT capabilities: 1-shot every Sherman with side ammo racks in the turret cheeks from the front (doesn’t work for Jumbo and M4a2 76 as their ammo is at the bottom) sets T-34-85 on fire from the front, side 1-shot every tank except KV-1 and M4a2 76 (sides are too thick to ammorack but you can set its engine on fire).
AT damage: you can disable guns of Shermans and Grant/Lee from the front.
Since I can only tested them in default practice mode, I can’t compare anti-infantry DMG and AOE, nor test the armor reliably. BM-8-24 should have 20mm weakspots from the front since it’s using T-60 chassis.
All in all, if left unchanged, I think Panzerwerfer deserves BR4, it could be an absolute menace in downtiers.
US P38s and Beaufighter: Heh heh
Lets move all of those to BR5
It should be at least 3.
People got all sensative about being blasted by it. But any 75mm will do alot more work than that thing (especially the 75mm short)…plus it can be killed by any AT rifle and up
Its paper thin armor, sluggish, not much ammo…
Does not belong at IV, and any one complaining about getting wrecked by it have bigger problems
I know this would probably piss off most the community here, me included, but these vehicles should be able to do indirect fire.
They are supposed to be artillery vehicles, not tanks.
Hehe maps and objective points are too small for it. But the indirect fires MLRS system from BF 4 was fun ![]()
