It’s a weapon from old premium squad that’s discontinued at some point.
What this is, is just basically a glorified MP 40 with this unique mechanism that let’s you switch up to the other magazine quickly(This still takes like full 1 second, as well as actually slower reload speed than the regular MP 40 by having 0.8 secs more if 2 magazines spent or performs tactical reload)after fully spending the magazine that’s currently feeding.
I don’t think that mechanism alone makes it worth it to be placed at full 1 BR higher than the regular MP 40 on BR 2. I suggest move it down to BR 2 from BR 3.
This gun, in my opinion, is not worth being an upgrade to BR. Let’s take the American gun called the Hyde 35 as an example. It also has a dual magazine mechanism, but it’s still in BR2. The magazine reloading mechanism is at best a good feature, but it’s not a major enhancement.
In fact, the double magazine mechanism you mentioned is actually more related to the existence of the gun itself. Before the German gold card store was closed, there was a water pipe gun. Its mechanism was that when you finished the first magazine, the gun mechanism would automatically switch to the next magazine to continue shooting. It’s a bit like the double tail gun in Battlefield 1. Yes, that’s right. So this is the difference between manual reloading and purely mechanical quick reloading. That’s why the latter pass gun can rank in BR3, while this MP40/1 should be in BR2.
