Compared to the other smg from the allies and the russia this gun is very much underperforming because of its slow rate of fire.
With the addition of the drum mag version Lahti-Saloranta M/26 and experiencing its rate of fire of 500, from my experience it should be reasonable to put MKb42(H) to BR3 and placing the 15 rounds Variant to BR2.
With the current map design, MKb42(H) struggles do its purpose of assaulting objects head on because of its slow rate of fire.
I don’t know what you guys are thinking that an assault rifle in the tech tree has any business being in 3… now sure if all other factions get one then yeah.
You are referencing a battlepass weapon in a suggestion related to tech tree… that is pretty disingenuous… they almost always punch a little higher above their clsss.
mkb 42 h to br4 is fair but the br3 one is a big no no
The Thompson series deals 8.2 damage while the MKB42 deals 9.6; however, considering that the Thompsons have a rate of fire 200–300 RPM higher than the MKB and STG, that is a factor worth noting. The PPSh series ranges from 800 to 1200 RPM, so the MKB42(H) with its 550 RPM and 9.6 damage wouldn’t necessarily be superior or vastly overpowered by comparison. Another example is the .30-cal Thompson; although it is a premium weapon, it has a rate of fire of 700 RPM while sitting at BR3.

Absolutely NOT on BR3. A unit equiped with MKb42’s facing BR2 is just pure slaughter and unfair.
They don’t need a nerf because they perform way worse then they should. Did you ever try the MKb42(H) scoped? This thing is bouncing everywhere.

Beside my axis BR2, BR3 and BR5 I just made a full equiped BR4 line up. I noticed how few BR4 weapons there are worth playing. G43, ZH-29, MG42 (or MG34 drum) and Kiraly. Thats it. I dont count the premium and event weapons.
Yeah, The MKB.42 is br 4 material, the “15” rounds would probably stay unless it’s ammo gets changed to it’s more accurate 10 rounds
I’d say, that they should move the MKb42 (H) to BR II but make it so it has 10rds in the mag as it should, then the regular MKb can be moved to BR IV alongside the Horn STG

30 rnds AR in br3? that’s a bit much, eh… Br4 is good. But it’s axis so it never will.
the 15 rounds could go to br2 I suppose… mkb35 is already br2 and got more rounds, so…
but the 30 rounds br3? again, not a chance.
Let’s start with small steps first. Both MKB42 H and Horn STG needs to be BR 4 first then we’ll see. As for MKB 42(H) 15 rnds mag, i think it’s okay on BR 3. It’s not a great weapon for sure but it isn’t exactly a terrible weapon either so staying on BR 3 will do for now.
Altho, this maybe hot take but i think bring down STG 45M to BR 3 would be okay. I mean it’s basically MKB 35 on BR 2 with 10 more rnds in the mag then got placed on BR 4 that it’s a terrible weapon to use with such low RoF on BR 4.
Or they could exchange the 15 rounds to 10 and stick it in BR2, however, since I really don’t care, they can stick it in BR2 with 15. 
I play mostly Allies, but almost the same amount with the Germans.

If that doesn’t cause apocalypse, MKB 42 H could be BR4 as well but ONLY provided that no “balance” BR4 ARs would be pulled out of Fantasyland for USSR and Allies.
