Playing BR1 you realize that the biggest disadvantage of getting uptiered to BR2 is that they get APCs and you don’t. Considering that APCs are still integral to a lineup despite getting nerfed hard, it seems unfair that a bunch of unarmored trucks are locked to BR2.

I’d also take this opportunity to demand that the Universal Carrier be added to the Allied tech tree.
Ive said well over 200 times now there are Australian and Canadian variants of the UC that can be added if the devs are so worried about that random event UC very few people ever got.
Off topic but related to above, theres a Soviet assualt rifle that as far as I can tell is basically the same (except premium more powerful) in premium and tech tree. AS 44 or something like that, its basically a prototype AK47.
If both weapons are the same (they are labelled the same) then I would consider that precedent for adding a premium weapon to the tech tree.
This especially applies to the M3A1 halftrack which belongs in the USA-UK tree (Soviets can keep premium).
Likewise the German Sdfkz APC with the single MG42.

I don’t really mind using BR1 gear against BR2 gear, but the lack of APCs hits really hard.

Dev can simply change the boys at rifle to mg so the event one still remain unique.
They are not the same. They are different model of as44.
But speaking of precedent, Soviet did have premium M4a2 76w and M3 Medium(M3 Lee) that are also in the US tech tree. So I don’t see the problem of giving US a tech tree M3A1.
