Mosin 17.2 @ 10m VS. K98 16.1 @ 10m ?!

I just notice that the Mosin sniper has a damage of 17.2 @ 10m, 16.0 @ 100m and 15.0 @ 200m
by contrast the K98 16.1 @10m, 15.0 @ 100m and 14.0 @ 200m.

Is there something I am missing, or is that what Gaijin/ Darkflow means “BY BALANCED” ??

It is, thought. Do you really need that much damage per bullet at 10m? Also, while the kar has bit less damage per bullet, it cycles between them much faster and even reloads faster.

No, you don´t need that much damage per bullet, not even at greater distance. My is point is why do they differ. True the K98 has a higher rate of fire, well 3-4 rounds/ min.

The short answer is: it doesn’t matter and no one cares.
The long answer is: Because the two weapons are different. The mosin sniper is not a carbine. In fact, its type is the same as the gewehr 98. If you compare them that way, the German weapons are already stronger. BUT! In reality, however, it is not possible to mount scope on the mosin carbine, so you have to solve it this way. The Soviets did use the two types of weapons in parallel in the war. The Germans only do kar98k. The gewehr 98 did not officially serve in the German army after 1935, nor was it used until they began to run out of weapons. Probably he also got into Moscow just because the G41 sniper was buggy, no other semi-automatic sniper was at hand and that’s how it was solved.
