Moscow Moscow!

I have had enough of grinding axis normandy, now I plan on grinding axis moscow. And not only that, I will only use bolt-actions. And thats where I need help.

Which gun should I use? I have two in mind, vz24 and pre-war-kar98.

vz24 has a slower rate of fire but alot more damage.

pre-war-kar98k has the same damage like kar98k but faster rate of fire.

Stalingrad is the best for bolt action, there, the damage has been boosted.

Kar98k is nice.

You’re in for a world of pain man.
Expect: No real teammates, experienced enemies, drum mag smgs everywhere for the soviets, tank spam.

But if you’re gonna want to have the best chance, use the Vz24. It’s kind of the only real choice.

The Vz24 has open sights, while the K98k has a “Kornschutz” (covered sights). Have a look, which one fits better for you to aim.

I prefer regular k98 to the pre war version simply because of the sights

Bruh, i was Moscow main, got 600 out of my 1200 Matches there and it went worse and worse, T-50 no requirement Gold order spam, 3x Assault squad PPhs 41 god gun spam. Just skip and go stalingrad to maintain sanity. :joy:

There both great <3

Kind of disliked them at first because the sight picture was a bit restricted

For the Moscow campaign I recommend either the pre-war K98, the K98 or the Vz24 as those were most prevalent at the time. You can also do some research and find out which units were formed when and make some decisions around that, since older units might have some pre-war K98 stocks whilst the newest ones might be equipped with the Vz24 as those would have been issued from the captured Czech stocks.
Equally, you could issue some of your “squad leaders” with the Gw41s to make them stand out

Wait a second, since when does bolt rifles have 14+ damage? I thought that was Stalingrad only thing. Damn, I must have been sleeping

You forgot the newest addition, best lmg of Moscow campaign, the dt29 :stuck_out_tongue:

In seriousness to answer the OP, however:
The VZ. Because that Czech rifle has 15 stock damage, along with good accuracy and good bullet cycling speed. If not, the k98 is always a safe bet… it’s present in all campaigns so you probably mastered it already.

I have no idea how the Vz24, which has the same caliber, and a shorter barrel than the K98 do more damage ???
Some Dev’s been hitting the vodka too hard.
Infact if they are going to play quality games around weapon lineages, then the pre-war K98 should do the same damage as the Vz 24 since the assumption may be that both weapons represent pre-war production runs and are of higher quality.

I use pre-war K98s / K98 mit schiessbeher with reg riflemen, pre-warK98 with AT, FT and Mor roles, Vz24s with the radio operators, Gw’41 with engineers, and MP40s or MP35/I with the assault, tank and pilot roles except where I have some esoteric weapon like the Suomi, Mkb 35/III or Vmp 1926 where the “most senior” /“squad leader” position would use that.

My scoped G98 has even 18.4.

Eh. Mg34 still the best I’d say.

Mg42 is a must for the german if you can use it, you cant don’t use her

Regarding joe:
allaied MG have less dispersion than german one so they are more all rounder than german counter, so is true says they are better but not that much than some one expect

Always. Thats why I’ve never understood why people say bolt actions are weak. They are also extremely cheap to upgrade making most 17 damage for less than 20 bronze orders

Because people want do Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr not Br Br Br

I’ve never really noticed the 34 having more dispersion tbh. I’d say it’s well compensated for by the low recoil, great recoil patttern and high rof.
As for 34 vs 42, I don’t see much of a difference except for imo all around worse recoil for the 42.

as you and I said there is little difference between them but it is not very visible, but the allied ones can be used to make rambo the german ones (breda excluded) it is a little more difficult

I’d disagree on that actually.
German MGs are a lot easier to rambo with for me, due to their rof.
Aliied ones are best as mid range support weapons.

No is the opposite for me
