Moscow is even bigger cancer than Normandy

Well, I understand jumping when you’re crossing trenches or ground clutter, trying to throw off someone’s aim when they’re shooting at you, I’m not against jumping. I even employ the old 3 second rush sometimes, assuming there is cover to use with it. Having played the modern event yesterday I now understand just how SLOW our frontniki and frontschwein actually are!

It’s the 5 to 7 man squads with FG-42s or MG-34s or MG-42s or PP(D/Sh/et al.) that come flying around the corners that gets a little ridiculous and I won’t lie and say it’s not annoying. I have a strategy to deal with it, and sometimes it works (sometimes the AI bot shoots them for me).

I feel like it’s an issue that comes back to an inordinate amount of automatic weapons available in this game, and I have mixed feelings on it to be honest. But, at a certain distance every weapon has a chance to shine, and if the game would put more effort to emphasize combined arms as well as combined small arms, then I don’t think it would be a huge problem in the long run.

I just worry that those concepts aren’t pushed enough in how this game is portrayed and how new players are on-boarded by the game itself. This whole thread is another symptom of a larger issue; of players not being encouraged to participate in the combined arms aspects of the game. This is only my opinion, obviously.

The tank thread(s) are a symptom of it, the airplane thread(s), the engineer thread(s), the artillery thread(s) and so on. We’ve all seen battles where those various elements come together and some amazing shit happens (usually victory), I just think that’s the real elephant in the room here. And I have no clue how to address it.

Some people could argue thats a… well “alternative way” to block cps/ trenches.

still more balanced than 25 soldiers all armed with LMGs  and yes you can do that

Just wait, I’d bet that the next round of campaign levels will introduce Riflemen IIIs and increase movement speed……for 9 man squads

I think it will be medpack usage speed for Riflemen III’s because those 9 man premium squads in Moscow have that perk.

so dumb. Theres always one radioman on the defense who calls arty on a new point as soon as the previous one is capped

most intelligent and situationally aware soviet tankers

if this game was advertised to be an arcade movement shooter it would be fine. if the servers weren’t so shit that ‘’’‘advanced’’’’ movement was tantamount to exploiting (i.e. exploiting shitty hit detec) it wouldn’t be too bad. But yeah, ive always hated the jump peeking shite and for an ‘’’‘authentic’’’’ ww2 shooter, it should be toned down heavily

Despite, you´re exagerating, i´m ok with some of your points, most of people that plays this game, is not looking for a new COD, or BF

Yeah, seen this crap too.
Overall, it feels like there are less players in Moscow/Tunisia and I get thrown on servers with sever lag and ping issues. CQBs are not fun anymore as you feel like playing against players with aimbot, while in reality it’s just them seeing you earlier than you see them.
Hit detection became somehow worse. When manning MG34 I sometimes get grouped kill markers like almost 2 seconds after a burst. One match I’m completely fine with leading targets and hitting them with a sniper again and again, next match, same map, can hit only those who stand in place for at least the second, the rest doesn’t register.

All that above + bunny hopping nonsense and the fact that planes now kind of suck because of meta, I don’t enjoy the game anymore. Moscow was my main and the best campaign. All this crap is turning it into the same mess as the rest.

Yup, had to play Moscow Axis for daily missions, and my team was atrociously bad, I always played Moscow Allies and had mostly dropped playing the soviets because it stopped being challenging.

Its about low player count for the Axis faction on Moscow, tbh.
Because Germans have slightly better tanks in average, and comparably good or better weapons, so it isnt about equipment.
I’m talking of weapons like that disgusting FG42 that doesnt belong to Moscow time period.

While I agree with jump-shots needing to be removed and the stance change from standing to prone/crouch should not be instantaneous, or should cost stamina and not allow shooting during it
