So I was trying to find reason to “collecting” the U2 squad in Stalingrad, but does anyone know if the resupply point gets closer if you use it? Otherwise the U2 may as well be a drop and forget glider with babes, for it would take an hour for a single trip. The main selling point right now is that I don’t think anyone is crazy enough to use it? Considering it can probably get trick shotted by a hand grenades as it flies that slow and low… Heck, I bet someone could trick shot the U2 with an anti infantry mine.
In other news… Anything else worth picking up? I was planning on getting the m13/40 because it is a dependable little tank and rather cheap in comparison to other tanks. Maybe even the Italian radio squad because they got that mad halo drip. Tunisia is kinda weird how they have premium flame thrower squads and premium radio operators yet other campaigns don’t? Is there such a thing as a premium mortar squad???
U2 is just for collectors, it’s complete trash.
It’s basically just breaking your own wings or wait several minutes simulator.

U2 is used for psychological warfare.
It’s very effective in making rage little boys, when you kill em with those paratroopers ladies (cause they’re only good on the ground)
Give them brammit, the silenced smg, and laugh. I gave them a pps42 as well for good measure.
In short: buy it for laughs, not effectiveness.

But from the list both mg45, panzer with heat and Tunis flamethrower squads are more than worth

I honestly have genuine fun with them. They’re my lil ninja gals and I swear I’ve seen players go out of their way, doing reckless moves, to take my gals down.
It’s hilarious. I’ll get medic gals when on discount too.
They MUST have silenced Brammit for better effect: bots ignore Brammit shots (making guys rage more)

The 588th Night Bombing Regiment…
The unit was founded by Marina Raskova, the first female aircraft pilot in the Soviet Union.
Immediately after the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War, Raskova received a large number of letters from civilian women pilots applying for frontline service. In response, Raskova proposed the establishment of a special women’s regiment, which was considered by the authorities, but there was strong opposition to a women-only unit. Nevertheless, in autumn 1941, General Secretary Joseph Stalin approved the unit and recruitment of volunteers began, and on 27 May 1942 the regiment was formed with 115 girls aged between 17 and 22. This was the 588th Night Bombing Regiment of the Red Air Force a.k.a. the 46th SSR Night Bombing Aviation Regiment.
They are a very impressive unit. More than being a unit formed by young girls, their dedication should be recorded in history.
Certainly, when viewed as a pure air force, their performance is not satisfactory. The U-2 aircraft given to the girls are just training aircraft, and they are not built for combat. The reason why these women became a specialist night unit was that if they went out during the day they would be shot down by automatic weapons from the ground.
Their U-2s were not fitted with parachutes or even machine guns until the end of the war. Armed only with bombs suspended under their wings, the U-2s they flew were truly suicide bombers. But even so, the girls prioritised victory over life.
If you feel respect for these girls, this unit is a worthy addition to your collection. The U-2s in the game have been wonderfully recreated and are perfect for reliving their hardships.
The pilot girls can also change their equipment at will - the U-2s take a frighteningly long time to reach the front line from their starting point, so throwing historical accuracy aside, you can parachute them down after dropping bombs and sabotage them behind enemy lines as powerful female airborn!
At the moment, the German-Soviet war in the game is a battlefield full of men, so if you go out with these pretty girls you’re sure to attract attention.
The 588th Night Bombing Regiment, a very unique unit, is highly recommended if you buy it knowing that it is a very unique unit.

Its more of a meme unit.
Im not saying its not deadly, but there are better squads of you want better weapons, but this is for humiliating your enemies.

I´m probably gonna get either the Owen or EMP36 squad from Tunis. Pretty cheap and they have engineers. Nothing flashy but decent SMG squad and a safe choice really.

It might be useless, But I got to tell you the first time I got buzzed by one of these…I couldn’t help but just look at and stare as it “floated” on by a few meters above my head.
