…running around. Especially in buildings. If sneaking up behind, not so much, but the knife murders running around full speed and not making much if any noise needs a look.
What?
I think he means footsteps should be louder. Not sure if it’ll actually be useful, though: if you make em louder, you gotta make em louder for everyone, not just for the melee guy, and if you do, how do you tell them apart?
Here’s a tip: Footsteps made by enemies are louder than footsteps made by your teammates. It’s a good way to hear if someone is nearby.
But I do agree that they need to be made more consistent.
people don’t use to listen environmental sounds. When I’m inside a house, I use to listen when there is people inside.
If there is someone running inside the building, you can listen to them.
But don’t get wrong with me, I would like sound improvements. A sound like Tarkov or Hunt showdown would be great
Footsteps are loud enough as is, especially when someone is running around upstairs in a house. Sprinting is the loudest, and thinking about it now, standard “running” could stand to have increased volume with all the jangling gear and heavy boots.
Footsteps are nearly the loudest thing in game right now. What annoys me is when someone guns down my entire squad of bots and I didn’t hear his weapon going off.
I’ve made numerous requests to investigate the near non-existent footstep sounds which some people aren’t hearing (myself and my friends included with a number of different audio devices). Apparently everyone with Audio Shitnicha’s headphones can hear footsteps just fine.
But my $300+ Sony WH-1000XM4’s can not pick up footsteps in Enlisted.

I’m trying to decipher the hieroglyphics, but I think he wants loud “knife kills”
