More Mechanisms To Discourage TK

In my opinion, Lone Fighters (LF) mode as of now does not provide sufficient punishment for tk and does even less to discourage griefing. Sure, a misplaced bomb can send the pilot right back to main menu, but so far, nothing can prevent a player from going after the same teammate, killing him again and again for, say, one time less than the autokick limit ( however many that is ) and go on to finish the game  This can be reallly frustrating for the victim, but because it’s not cheating, I don’t think the griefer will get any punishment other than reduced xp income :rage:

Many other games have implemented the following mechanisms to discourage tk and / or griefing and I strongly suggest implememting at least some of them:

  1. “forgive” option for the victim (which is usually required for the rest of mechanisms),
  2. respawn points given back if the tk’er is forgiven,
  3. added waiting time to spawn for the tk’er (scaleing up with tk numbers) if not forgiven
  4. nametag highlited when certain team damage threshold exceeded (wink wink pink bote)
  5. team damge reflected on self upong gaining the highlighted name tag (victim receives no damage)

Feel free to add more ideas to this list.

  1. griefing detection, for example autokicking earlier if a player is tk’ing the same teammate for say, 4-5 times.

@V_R please genuinely consider about these suggestions. Thank you.

After team killing enough players, TK should be marked/name changed to diffetent color.

Everybody should be able to kill team killer without penalty and team killer tag should stay on grieffers until he plays couple ‘good’ matches.

Also matches when tagged shoul not grant any exp so grieffers progression would be locked until he stops team killing

Great ideas, I agree that the TK system has a place to be in Enlisted, but needs polishing. Hopefully darkflow will take notice of this situation.

Just make damage reflected on yourself instead of killing Teammates

I think -150 scores is too much for an accidental team kill. You would need to kill close to 6 enemies to gain back the points lost

There needs to be some sort of change, as it is now it does not work.
