More flavor text when you win/lose a game would be cool

More flavor text for each map instead of “X forces have won” would be really neat.

Example for the Moat map (every map would have different text)

German victory: German forces have re-established control over the Kroll Opera House. They will pay dearly in blood if they wish to take Berlin!

Soviet victory : The Germans have been defeated by the glories’ Red army!. We will soon take over the few areas still occupied by the fascist rats!

German defeat: We have failed at retaking the Koenigsplatz! Fall back! We will defeat them at the Reich Chancellery!

Soviet defeat: The fascist rats have driven us from the Kroll Opera House! No matter, we will punch through their defenses and reach the Reichstag! Ura!

The idea is not a bad one, but it has its consequences and troubles. A simple example of how the Germans or Russians should feel when they are told after a loss: “we lost this battle” - “we occupied the territory of the Nazi bastards! “” We lost control of the territory, the enemy is coming to Moscow!” We have destroyed the communist bastards! The victory of the Reich is close! Do I need to say that there will be a semblance of a real “war” between the players of different factions ? Maybe this will seem normal to you, but ALL the players of different factions will be angry. The Germans will not be happy when their great-grandfathers were called invaders in the defense of Germany. Russians will be furious if their great-grandfathers are called “bastards” or say “we lost the battle for Moscow” And American / British players should enjoy it when they get after the battle: “The Battle for Normandy is lost, we were thrown into the sea!”. Sorry for the slightly rude explanation, but this idea will both bring the atmosphere of the fight, and raise a scandal on the forums. At the moment, matches are as far removed from politics as possible, victory and defeat affect only the pleasure of the game and that’s all.

Like in RO2 with the newspaper articles (if I remember correctly).

possibly leave out anything that targets the other side. like, nothing about calling the other side bastards and what not. You can still convey anger in other ways and we wont have to worry about a sandal I suppose. would also be a good idea for the announcer to have an accent for the side he’s announcing for.
