So we have premium British, Canadian, Australian and Morrocan squads but none of the French main/resistance/free french squads. France is a known example but pretty much every occupied nation had military before occupation, resistance during and units attached to American/Canadian/British armed forces. Netherlands, France, Belgium, Poland etc.
Would be great to see some of those! I understand there early war regular military and resistance fighters won’t quite fit after the campaigns merge but their attachements to larger allied forces, using their gear, would be cool to see.
Before someone says they saw little action, well there are premium and event squads equipped with weapons already that never saw action.
I for one would greatly enjoy (even) more diverse nations in terms of premiun squads even if many of those will end up being similar to existing ones.

You should be expecting nations which already has full localization (meaning dubbing/voice lines). Anything else is way big effort for them at this point.
But who knows, they can always surprise. It’s just my guess.

Looking at how much the game has grown I could see them do it. Especially because they’ve gotten voice actors they’ve worked with within the Gaijin/Darkflow environment that already do voices in WT for some of the potential countries.
As a Dutchman I’d really like to see Dutch stuff but not expecting that as a priority, or even happening at all due to reasons you mentioned, but WW2 without the French or Polish is really omitting something big for a game that adds a lot of obscure content.
After the campaigns merge I’d love a multinational line up that covers some stuff outside of the sphere of anglophones. Nothing against it, just monotomy.

Yeah, doesn’t mean they’ll easily sit down with them depending on their own bureaucracy. Prob get one to sit down for 10-20 voice lines? No idea how hard that actually is but I’m guessing it’ll go in the range of a few hundred bucks so that would be added on top of the premium development cost and effort. I’d love to see several French AND Polish premium squads. A 3 squad line up for each would be worth buying for me, not expecting full trees for them.
Having those voice lines would also open up the door for event squads. Really hope they do it! Lotsa potential for France/Poland.

The French Resistance is the premier squad that I definitely want.
I know it will bring this game closer to CoD, but that’s ok because once the merge is done the game will swallow more time paradoxes and fantasies than it does now.

Speaking of which, Vichy squad for Germany would be neat.
Any resistance squad would be cool. Every occupied nation had them. If they add a premium one i hope they’ll give them very varying weapons instead of all the same like usual premium squads.
Maybe a french forigin legion squad. Since they fought in a lot of places in WW2.
