So I am suggesting more AI orders.
It would be great if we could order our AI to take cover, scatter, advance and retreat. And AI should do some of these automatically, example. Grenade gets thrown into our midst or If I order them to take cover and go off to some Rambo adventure, The AI could have a panic meter, like if they are getting shot at much or be faced with 1.3 times more enemies compared to their troop amount they would automatically retreat due to squad leader not being present.

I think giving them the ability to spread out would be very useful. While the AI staying close is useful in some situations, their are a lot of times when the AI will follow you much too closely and get in the way of your shot, plus i have been in A LOT of situations where one grenade, tank shell, or burst from an AA gun has wiped out a whole group because they were all moving next to eachother. The ability to choose between a wider and closer formation would be appreciated.

-Follow in a row
-Follow in a line
-Follow in a wing
-Stand
-Crouch
-Prone

Personally I think that if they are following you, they should match your stance, so go prone when you do, etc.
