German Engineers have learned how to cheese the bunker, you can drive a tank onto of the hole to completely cover it, and 3 or 4 engineers can turn the inside of the bunker into a maze of impenetrable barbed wire and sandbags poking out through the walls. It is nearly impossible to take the bunker due to the amount of crazy junk that engineers can put inside that bunker.

Det packs should be able to kill anything, including barbed wire. But it should still have it’s slow down effect until you dismantle it with j

I’ve seen the allies break through my wire approximately 1/3-1/2 of the time. After that it’s pretty much a steam roll as long as the allies aren’t brain dead about taking out the MG positions.

I can tell you that the best way to enter the first bunker is main doors. When I’m defending this objective 90% of successful attacks come through main doors, not the hole.

Pretty much, if the main door is engi’d up and an american sneaks in, it’s shoe on the other foot time.
Wallposter on the hole and im shooting at germans in the door. Cheese time baby.
Sadly due to how many brain dead (or new, sorry) players there are sometimes you have to use cheese tactics to win, else it goes the whole game getting pounded.
I like mortars and support roles but as soon as I stop attacking, 50% of the time the game grinds to a halt.
It isn’t impossible to conquer the bunker, your team just doesn’t play well together.

The bunker stands or falls on whether the allies can interdict the German reinforcements coming to it from their spawn points - if hte allies build spawn points on each flank they can easily win regardless of the puma on hte hole or any amount of barbed wire.

Personal me I like that you can fit a tank into the bunker. It makes it hard because every match I have played 9/10 the bunker falls. It also make people think about how to destroy the tank. I also think that this article was written out of a place of anger because he could not destroy the tank.
