Don’t even try to argue that a semi-auto with a clip reload would be a better option for that engi
Is it overpowered though? It’s better than the G41 for sure. But better than the VG 1-5? Better than the Winchester 1907? Better than the SVT-38? Better than the Hino Rifle? All of them are at BR3 and could be used by an Engineer or Assault Engineer.

I’ve had a lot of good situations with it
better than VG1-5 for fighting in buildings/caps, shorter time to kill
That doesn’t make it overpowered. I’ve had lots of good situations with weapons that objectively aren’t that good, doesn’t change anything about them not being good though.

The Hino rifle is one of the best 3BR rifles.
Is it overpowered though? And is the Mkb 42 (H) 15 at BR3 better than the Hino at BR3 for assault engineers?
Mkb42h 15 should be compared to Mkb35, which also has very bad rpm, but a bigger mag and deals more damage. I can not believe anyone wanting to use those guns when there are automatic guns with double the time to kill - even in BR2.

What do you mean, “no”? I fired that Hino rifle a lot and liked it; it was more accurate than the Winchester M1907, or even the Gewehr 43 and SVT-38.
Good for you that you like it but the rof makes it a pain in the ass and no it does not have better accuracy

MKB 42 H 15 rnds mag extremely overpowered? I’d like to see that how you’d fight against something like 30 cal Thompson etc on BR 3 with that “extremely overpowered” weapon

Due to its stable recoil and slow rate of fire, the MKb.42(H) is well-suited for beginners. Unless the developers plan to buff it, both the standard and sniper versions should be moved down to Tier IV, while other German assault rifle variants remain unchanged.

MKb42H Scope → BR4 (500 rof)
MKb42W → BR4 (550 rof because old GO weapon)
Horn StG → BR4 (500 rof)
MP43/1 → BR5 (600 rof and the entry AR for BR5))
StG44 → BR5 (650 rof)
StG44 Scope → BR5 (650 rof)
The StG45 already is on BR4.
It could be so easy.
Sweet weapons for BR4 and finaly usefull again for BR4 people and their line ups. There is NO logic way to let those weapons in BR5. Once the StG is unlocked, those weapons will be forgotten and its a shame because the MKb42H really is a legend. AND: It would make BR4 way more interesting again.
Dont forget that the MKb35/III with 400 rof is on BR2! So BR4 would be absolute perfect.

At the very least the W version (BP) should be BR4 as a testing step.

It is. It is a removed premium however.

Well they’ve just recently increased its rpm to 600, so that it doesn’t belong to BR4, but still stay rather mediocre in BR5.
I really dont get it.
I am talking specifically about the MkB 42 W version because it’s GO/BP and not so easy to get.
It would definitely not break any balance as much as any TT variant potentially could, if it was allowed in BR4.
But would at least have a place to be used.
Right now behind MkB 42 H, MP 43 and STG 44 it’s dead on arrival.
