Ok I don’t think this will be a very popular one, but I would prefer for there to be mirror matches being included. I am tired of matches where either the enemy side easily wins or my side easily wins. Neither is fun, but both seem to be far to common lately. I think more matches than not one side is nearly completely silver ranks and the other nearly fully gold.

Having the side that has way more players have matches against itself, would allow the matchmaker to do something with all the high level players that one side has more than the other and put up matches with them.

Either that or increase time till the matchmaker is ok with making unfair matches considerable. Tho this would likely mean that one side has extremely long waiting times to find a match.

I had two other ideas in roughly the same direction:

  • One would be to simply have a limit how many people can join one teams que. Would kinda be the same as the long wait times, but indicate it earlier to the players that this que ain’t working.
  • The other would be to maybe allow matches with less people on one side in case that side has way better players. So for example 6 gold rank players vs 10 silver rank or something of the sorts. This would increase time to find matches aswell tho, as the side with already more players would have less people per match.
