BR 2: MG13 and Breda Mod 20 (good feeling)
BR 3: MG34
BR 4: MG34 with 75 rounds
BR 5: MG34 100, MG15
Why do I not use the MG42 with 50 rounds? Because it has same round capacity as the regular MG34 and I would get more backup ammo using the 75 round MG34 over the MG42. I use the belted version a lot because it has the most comfortable RPM + ammo count to me out of all BR5 machine guns.
MG 13 is good for sure I’m not too keen on the Breda though due to the reload. MG 34 is good value compared to the mg 42 and doesn’t feel far off kinda like the svt 38 being marginally worse than the svt 40 but costing significantly less (the gap is more pronounced between the mg 34 and mg42 though). I don’t think the wide sights and high visual recoil make the mg42 feel great over a lot of other mg’s.
