Found MG34 on the map in Tunisia. The Italian side does not have this weapon in the campaign. So how can you get it?

Probably AI squads. I mean squads that are fully controlled by AI, no humans inside.
But I guess MG34 will come with Gunner II squad.

I would need to double check the tree but I’m fairly certain it is.
Taking your word for it anyway, it probably hails back to the old pickup glitch that’s been in forever.
There’s some odd coding pertaining to dropped weapons so that some weapons transform or start acting differently when they get dropped.
Known examples I’ve seen in the past, not sure how many have gotten patched-
-pzb 38 would turn into the PzB 39
-the Madsen would get the rof of a bolt action
-the gewehr 33/40 would turn semi-auto

As I sometimes play custom battles with just bots (to complete some daily tasks faster) once I’ve stumbled on Tunisia Allies squad with BAR M1918A2 and this weapon is only available to Normandy Allies, so AI squads can have all variety of weapons.
I used to believe that explanation, but since custom battles became a thing it’s easier to disprove now.
I haven’t seen the AI use anything beyond a Thompson or Berretta M1
It is very rare to see, so far it was one time only for me to see BAR or Garand playing only Tunisia custom, hard to prove when I did not see a reason to make a screenshot then (yesterday actually).
It was definitely BAR A2 as I played Tunisia 1v1 with AI squad on Manor conquest map (very fast to complete that way) and I killed first ever squad (it looks like it’s always just first squad with different weapon) and picked up that BAR.

It’s not something so outlandish that I think it’s fake given the other possibilities, I’ve just never seen it myself. I don’t play customs too often, usually just when I want to cheese a task like pistol kills.
Customs are a fun sandbox for studying the AI.
Its from an AI squad. The MG34 is however in the Tunisia practice area so it will be in the next string of updates I’m guessing
As had already been said, it’s deployed with certain AI only squads.
They are harder to spot than the allied ones, but the Allies AI only spot is a british Flamethrower squad and a British assaulter squad wearing the tankers helmets, they have the M1927 Thompson.

Just like in previous versions, AI able to have not presented weapons, mostly from not released campaigns levels.
I got in that situation in Berlin, I stole a dt29. But… we were in closed beta, the weapon just wasn’t realeased.
Contrary to what I first believed, the user wasn’t a bot. Bots don’t jump and play so aggressively, with cunning.
No… it was a dev testing out the firearm, of that I’m almost certain.
So… you killed a dev. Or it was an AI squad.

Could be because the MG-34 was part of the Tunisia CBT and the bot equipment wasn’t updated since then.
I’m sure you know what behavior you saw, but bots can jump and can be very aggressive- part of the reason why custom battles are so great for identifying what behavior is typical of bots.

True… But I’ve yet to see a bot completely DUMP a lmg mag in my direction, they tend to burst shot. The sly opponent also rushed from cover to cover between each salvoes, ducking and leaning…
But then again it was in CLOSED beta… It’s much more plausible to see devs during that time 
Most of the time tho, it’s true they are bot squads. Like the ones wearing green pea uniforms in Berlin that make me so jealous!!!

Yeah AI squads basically get random weapons but I expect with the next major update we will be getting the MG34 and the BAR added to Tunisia, the BAR was shown in the open beta trailer for Tunisia.

Yesterday i removed my MG Squad from my Warriorlist.
Everytime i die and switch to next Soldier, 50 Enemys in front of me and only 4 Bullets in MG. KI only waste Bullets and doesnt reload my Guns AAAAWH i love this Game
