Mg mount mechanic is bs. Enlisted maybe not super realistic but mounting an mg is not harder in real life than game. We should be able to mount them easily without trying to fing perfect aims or heights. In this stage, we cant mount theim on Low height walls or in most trenches. This pushes mg soldiers to close encounter combats whic is totally nonsense. . I have to use my mg as assaulter smg %90 of time. Cod waw has a better mount mechanic devs can copy that

It can be very frustrating getting them to deploy, in fact trying to do it can get you killed, So yes often it’s much safer to start sending rounds down range and hope you actually hit something than it is to deploy.
Even being prone can be extremely difficult to get the weapon to deploy.
And when you are you’re exceedingly vulnerable because you’re usually hanging halfway out the window when you finally get the thing set up.
So there’s definitely room for improvement.

Also pro tip for anyone struggling with mounting weapons set your mount weapon keybind to the same as your aim keybind this way you can prone quickly and mount your weapon very fast and effective
Hmm… there are many times when I find that hte mounted position is complete rubbish, and I’d rather free-aim, so not sure this is always a good thing…
